He beat softy in every debate hands down
He's an idiot who ed around on his dying wife.

And I live with wanting the Spurs to win, all the way, not just in the reg season. That means playing Tiago more. But if you think Blair/Bonner will put a hurtin on the 2 time champs, that further shows how delusional you are just as when you thought Obama would be the savior of our time
When did I ever say any of that?

You're as big a liar as John Edwards.

And John Edwards is a ing huge liar.

Don't get me wrong. I think Splitter could help the Spurs advance this year, but Popovich sticks to his guns, he has always stuck to his guns. I can picture him sitting down before the first tip of the season and making a seasonal game plan. He had his idea of what this team needed to accomplish it's goals for the entire season. He had to have somebody that could relieve the back court, namely Ginobili, and he found that in Neal. I think he may of had the McDyess/Blair switch in mind from the start. He doesn't want a five man front court rotation. When Tiago missed on preseason, he lost his chance to get in Pop's head. This team will probably win 62 games, I think Popovich will have no trouble sleeping on that. Splitter should have more chances to impress in the last 2 or 3 games of the regular season, I think he will surprise and step it up another notch. At least we can always hope.

...Splitter’s playing time again was limited after he could have earned more time earlier in the second half when the game appeared at hand. But Blair’s big game (six points, eight rebounds) and his hustle and grit made Popovich stay with him longer than normal. The result was Splitter getting 3 minutes and 29 seconds in mop-up time in the fourth quarter. But if Popovich decides to give his bench extensive work next week, I’d look for Splitter to get most of the playing time inside.

"Trust in the system, " is one of the things it's been reported Pop has written on the pre-game chalk board.

Oh believe me Bonner can really affect the outcome of the playoff for the spurs, if he plays 20 minutes and gets manhandled in defense and in rebounds that will cause our exit. 'This is no joke , I'm serious with this. Bonner could be our single biggest reason for failure. If rings are won on the defensive end and in rebounding, remember Bonner has the lowest rebounding avg in the NBA for bigs avg 20 or more minutes, he is also possibly the worst defensive big man in the NBA. So yeah I absolutely believe the Spurs are playing a huge gamble by playing him significantly (15 min ) or so in the Playoffs

it would just be a waste of time - Bonner's 46.3% from the 3 (league leading) and the Spurs are 60-19; that's all that needs to be said about Bonner heading into the playoffs. Besides - he's just a role player and how much could he really affect the outcome of playoff games?

He is an idiot for that, I never said he wasn't. And yea he lied, about an affair. He made me sick to my stomach for that crap. I just still think he would have been tougher than softy.

And I didn't say you said that about Bonner and Blair, you're lying by saying I did. But it is safe to assume you are just fine with it, since you get so butthurt over anyone questioning that lineup.

At least we both like Louis C.K. Have a good day Chump.

    Why don't you ask him?
He lives next to my folks, I'll ask him if I see him. Actually if I see Pop, the brief talks are about anything but basketball.

It's not so much that Splitter is the next coming of Pau Gasol, but that he could be a better option than what we are doing now. I think that's what people are arguing. If and when we meet the Lakers, having two competent bigs on the floor to combat theirs would be a huge plus. If nothing else, just having the option to bring in a guy who can at least show in the paint would be good.

Also, if he's such a liability, which I feel he could be, given his limited playing time (circular argument), why bring him to the Spurs at all? Is he trade bait?

I trust Pop's call here, but I don't understand it completely.

I like Splitter's game but you guys are just going insane over this. Pop is going all the way with his floor-spreading scheme. "Neal" with it.

this is what im waiting for , ill stay quiet and laugh when i see people after we meet L.A in the western conference finals theres a reason why we started doing well folks WE PLAYED AT HOME AND WE PLAYED TY TEAMS!!! dont b dumb asses dont get y over some easy wins, im happy but not fooled.

when we play a real team for 7 games (lakers, dallas) lamar odom/ (god forbid) bynum, nowitzki they will turn bonner into their bottom in a matter of seconds and we'll see matt bonner run around the court like hes on fire cause he knows once they have the ball he isn't worth a .....

then the threads of "well i knew it" and "tiago should have got more time period" will fall from spurs talk but in a way i guess you have a point theres nothing we can do about it from here, thats why you go to games and actually speak up

I bet Tiago finally gets dusted off in game 2 of the WCF. The Spurs are up 1-0, but are down 9 in the 2nd quarter, and Pop finally unleashes the secret weapon.

Oh, who am I kidding? That secret weapon would be Bonner.
