I don't know how to account for that. Some of the games were blowouts that they had no chance of winning.
Spurs fans, you too have been victim of shady Danny C
Dan Crawford: Didn't call the foul by Derek Fisher on Brent Barry during the final seconds of 2008 Western Conference Finals, in which the NBA later apologized for
tbh, you shouldve seen how bump owned your butt buddy rjj the other day. pretty much dragged his corpse up and down the forum with no remorse. it was a pretty ugly site
dpg
You can't expect a whistle there, tbh. LA would not have got that call either.

You definitely should expect a call there with that mugging. If it's marginal contact, you let it go. When it's a complete tackle, you call it.
The NBA admitted it was a horrible no-call, didn't they?..
Nope...case in point Game 5 2003 WCSF. Kobe had Bruce Bowen in the air at the end (from the 3-point line), all he had to do was jump into him for the contact. He chose the pass b/c refs swallow the whistle in those situations.
You forgot the fact that there was two obvious goaltending no-calls the Spurs got earlier in their 4th quarter comeback bid. In the end the calls evened out.
That has no bearing on that terrible no call.
Kobe didn't get the contact, he passed it. Calls earlier in the game have nothing to do with your point.
Kobe could've easily gotten the contact (check the replay), but the refs wouldn't have called it cause it was a last shot...he knew this and opted for the pass to open Robert Horry (a good move on his part). Shot missed. Spurs win. Lakers lose.
Brent went the vaginal route and didn't get the call. Lakers win. Spurs lose.
This is fun...I love strolling down memory lane
They definitely should've called a foul on Fisher but it shouldn't have been a shooting foul
It was automatic FT's at that point for any foul.
I can live with the no-call. Apparently some are still having trouble accepting it
We all live with it, doesn't make what you are saying any less ridiculous. Living with it = Flat out lying to yourself.
The league office on Wednesday reviewed the final play of the San Antonio Spurs' 93-91 home loss to the Los Angeles Lakers in Game 4 of the Western Conference finals and acknowledged that a two-shot foul should have been called on Derek Fisher for impeding Brent Barry.
After falling behind by seven points in the final minute, San Antonio sliced the deficit to two and regained possession with 2.1 seconds to play.
Barry then wound up with the ball in the center of the floor on a play called for Manu Ginobili and faked Fisher in the air but struggled to get off a 3-point heave at the buzzer after Fisher came down and bumped Barry.
"With the benefit of instant replay, it appears a foul call should have been made," league spokesman Tim Frank said Wednesday.
Ignoring the fact that San Antonio was the beneficiary of several no-calls in that quarter isn't any less ridiculous. In fact I can point to several plays in the 4th that San Antonio had go there way--you can point to only one.
In the end, it doesn't matter.
Was it a foul? Yes
Am I shocked that the refs swallowed their whistles? No.
The series wasn't lost there, and you know it.
Don't be an ass, you insinuated as much.
