Aldo is the man. Nobody is going to beat him. Ever.
Shields is exactly what I knew he was, a one trick pony who dominates lesser compe ion, but ing sucks when thrown in with a lion.
GSP has to move up. Enough is enough, time to put Silva in his place.
Diaz looked like , what an ass hole. I hate their whole camp. They are the "little butt Mexican" version of AKA. What a travesty.
Vladdy -- BOOM! (still time to retire, dude)
Machida, thank you SO much for putting that old on his back with a sissy little kick. I never have to watch another Randy Couture fight. There IS a God.
GSP was not blind. And my goodness GSP really can fold when he is being worried about stuff like that during fights. It affects him.
All in all. I don't know if it will be a good idea to make a fight between him and Nck Diaz. Diaz has nobody to fight in Strikeforce so it might happen.
But yup I would rather see GSP at MW. he would probably be the smallest MW in the UFC and challenging Silva going up? Damn Silva fighting at LHW was not having top notch compe ion. I wonder why?
And they want to throw GSP not used to the higher weight to Anderson?
Sonnen is a big MW and it helped him gaining advantage in the takedown.
Anyway I would like to see this matchup and it seems to be the perfect timing.
The problem is - Okami can win the fight and IMO Shields would have also big chance of upseting Danas p4p fighter.
Good card
ben henderson escaped Bocek and now it would be great to see him against Jim Miller. 155 is stacked as wow. Having Aldo there could cause a big loss to the 145 division. We need to wait for more fighters wanting to cut 10 pounds more going down from LW.
Anyway Henderson and Miller are contenders. Guida and Pettis are also contenders. Denis Siver is one win away IMO as Guillard. You've got Edgar and maynard and might even consider Melendez fighting for UFC
YOu can be pissed off about those Silva and Machida kicks being taught by Segal
oka for now
GSP is simply not used getting wounded and bloodied that's the reason why anyone who wants to fight this guy should rough him up really bad.
GSP has always relied on his athleticism and superior skills, but I've never seen him in deep water before. If Shields had some success with his takedown and hurt him just a little bit, GSP might have lost.
The guy simply loses heart when he's not dominant.
GSP was in deep water against Penn the first fight, he had a bad first round and came back hard the next 2. He tore a muscle against Alves and still dominated the 5th round. The eye was in his head and he didn't fight well but i don't think he lacks heart..
But he worries too much during the fight.
It could get into his head
I can talk later because I've got an opinion
I'm not drunk - I was writing in shortcuts.
All in all I know ppl here do not take me seriously because of that.
I can post huge posts but why should I?
Finally Official, Georges St-Pierre's Rounds Won Streak Ends at 33 (@mikechiappetta) http://aol.it/khKnGy
I've seen the fight twice and i had him winning rds 1-4 and losing the 5th close..
Don't know how 2 judges gave round 4 to Shields when he was taken down and dropped with a head kick in the round.. But GSP had a bad night.. Probably his worst le defense since reclaiming the belt..
