When was the last time Manu has been healthy in the playoffs anyway?

I still find it funny how people want to use the Manu injury excuse but refuse to use the same thing for the Grizzlies, Rudy being one of their best players as well, and at least Manu did play in which the Grizzlies didn't have that option . The better team always wins a 4 game series.

Grizzlies beat the spurs almost everywhere on the court, Spurs just have way to many weaknesses to be the better team.

The Grizzlies bullied the Spurs both mentally and physically. No excuses.

Manu's broken arm had nothing to do with him dribbling the ball until the clock was almost out in Game 3.

He's hands down my favorite player but no one on the Spurs played well. Careless turnovers, mental errors, lack of physical play led to their first round ouster.

Manu's arm doesn't excuse Tim or Tony's awful games. RJ's disappearing is well chronicled.

    Bad year.

But not better than Manu. I guess Tony needs to be traded for a player that shows up in the playoffs. Mike Conley comes to mind.

If the spurs can go back to game 1 --spurs vs grizzlies....healthy manu and bonner kept on the bench....duncan,blair,parker,manu,and even rj....spurs win game one and the series.....imagine manu with a healthy arm?manu would be beyond unstoppable....spurs can win the championship next yr with the same roster just put the right line up to fix the pieces .....if there is a nba season next yr....duncan,blair,parker,manu,hill.....than bench you have players like splitter, dice, gary neal, james anderson,de sean butler, rj,and etc etc...spurs are still contenders to me....to me parker doesn't want to be in SA another more for him to say that....it looked like he didn't have any emotion in that series

manu and tp both did not drive enough

manu was out there so you can not blame the injury
if he was so hurt he should have been glued to the bench

no one hit outside shots so it hurt the driving game of both manu and tp

so you should get rid of those players

Suddenly Pop's sitting Manu in Game 1 and his comments about how if we had been healthy we could have won dont seem so crazy to me.

thats how good manu is....he was playing good while with a hurt arm....imagine him with a healthy arm....he would of drive more to the rim with a reckless abandon......he would of gone to the free throw line more and he would of been more agressive....yes he was out there but he wasn't the same manu ....so yes I do blame the injury

Watched every minute, he played well (2005 finals especially) Manu was a non-factor in 2003. But he still rode Duncan to the les. Just like Pippen rode Jordan..

How dumb can you be? What the kind of logic do you have in not counting the injury towards anything? Manu did everything he could. TP lost the first three ing games by missing shots he should make in his sleep.

And Jordan would not have 6 without Scottie

    WTF is your point??

Who the is Manu without Duncan? What impact would he have made in the NBA without the Spurs and Duncan? He played very well for the Spurs no doubt but Spurs fans love to over-rate the outta him.. He was good never great..

Make no mistake about it, the San Antonio Spurs were not playing like they were accustomed to playing. Turnovers, pressure, and our youth movement was to blame. I do not know how much of this you credit the Grizzlies but they do deserve credit.

Manu's injury obviously did not help any of these facts but it wasn't Manu's fault that we lost this series. We were in most of the 6 games played except for the one blowout game. The difference this year could have been better excecution, better coaching tactics, and of course more ball movement. We isolated too much and could not decide what our ultimate strengths were going to be against this young Grizzlies team.

A 100% healthy Manu has been as good as any guard over the past decade. To deny that is moronic. How good is Duncan rated on the all-time list without the 05 and 07 les? TD would be ranked under KG without those les.

What is your logic? How does the majority of Spursnation overrate Manu?
