yes. I have. but with distant relatives of my family. not the immediate (first cousins, aunts, uncles) and yes, it does exist but understand that my mother and kin, have a strong connection with spain be it through immediate family members that live there so in essence, it's always been harmonious regarding the spanish/mexican connection.
