No, Phoenix sports fans are worse. By far the worst fanbase in all of sports. It's no coincidence the only respectable fanbase in Arizona is located in Tucson. azcentral.com's message boards are 100x worse than DB.COM

azcentral is the butthole of interwebs sports forums. I used to think the most violent thoughts about those posters whenever I'd visit that place during the Spurs-Suns rivalry years.
the fact is these s never be realist. even in the darkest years they thought the mavs could win the championship, and every year it'd turn out to be a 1st-round exit, one year after another (w/ the only break of 09 though, thanks to the spurs). they just act blind and whenever the mavs win a game over a rival (spurs, lakers etc...) they go ecstatic as though the mavs had won the championship. their psychosis just coincided with some good luck this year imo, which however doesn't make em quite different than those pessimists imhoEnough with the "homer" bull .
The only reason TC, mono, sribb and others kept predicting the Mavs would lose was because of their history of bad playoff losses, instead of objectively considering the fact that this Mavs team is much different than past Mavs teams.
Shank was in the same boat as myself and Ghazi as well. Dude knew what was up, and deserves props for staying objective as well.
Call it homerism if you may, but I think the Mavs have done a pretty good job of proving us "homers" point that they are a different team, by not getting lucky and/or barely getting through each series, but by dominating the out of their opponent in each series, and doing so with a " you" at ude throughout. They have really had only one bad loss in this entire run (G4 Portland series), which proved to be more of an anomaly, rather than "*sigh* same old mavs" as people thought, as the Mavs have been without a doubt, the best closing team in the playoffs.
Not trying to bash people (especially after what is really looking like a bag bunch of comparisons that I brought up about Roddy B, yeah im the first to admit it, although I still think he has extreme potential and talent to be special), but constantly getting called "homer" simply because I believe that they werent the "same old mavs" as most everyone else did, is horse . If that were the case, there wouldnt have been numerous spurs fans, lakers fans, and others around here saying the exact same things myself, Shank, and Ghazi were saying.
While upstairs is home to many-a GNSF with terrible takes, the good posters up there are at least 1000x better than the best posters who are DB.COMERS.

Upstairs isn't that bad. Bad posters and homer takes are regularly put in check. It's not just a sea of unbridled homer takes from GNSFs jerking each other off.
