I heard this last night. For the UFC it makes sense. They wanted Bisping and Chael but it's not gonna happen because of his commission issues. He needed that worked out by June 5th and his latest set-back would mean the UFC would have to pull back the taping. And there is no guarantee Chael gets another license this summer. He may still be ed for a whole year...
I also read that while GSP liked coaching TUF he was not thrilled with the idea of doing it again so soon.. But this seems likely to me..

Diaz is dangerous everywhere. He is not as strong as Shields but he always goes forward. lets see if GSP can use it and finish the guy. Let's see if Nick if he will bring it to GSP can force him to fight, not just stick to gameplans
I've been kind of burned out on mma lately; with the exception of the occasional individual fight, the last few ppv's have been pretty blah. This, however, is what I needed to get things back on track. This is exciting. It's Randy Couture/Tim Sylvia all over again.
I'm not excited at all... I hate Nick and I really really really think he's overrated... but I guess if GSP has no one else to fight, it will be nice to see him beat Diaz's ass.

Nick Diaz is no (he said so himself, ha ha) and GSP still holds himself back mentally. Diaz isn't going to do that. It might make the difference.
That's something I never understood about Rush - how such a physical badass could have so many doubts about his ability. If he truly understood what he was capable of there would be no decisions in his career.
GSP will be pushed in this fight for sure. One of the reasons i am looking forward to it so much. GSP will be favored but should not be hugely favored as Diaz is a great fighter with a warrior spirit.
I am willing to bet a 6 month signature on GSP knocking Diaz out or submitting him in decimating fashion.

I'm taking Diaz, he can do damage with his jab and fight off his back, George doesn't finish guys so it gives Diaz a lot more chances to catch him
Good fight but GSP has too much for him.. Catching GSP in a sub ain't happening and Nick is gonna get grappled to death..
