Whenever I see a bad trade idea, it reminds me to do my deep breathing exercises. So it's not all bad

You must be getting a lot of deep breathing in today.

Turkoglu had 6 horrible games against LA and was the biggest reason the Lakers could pack 4 people in the lane and shut down a red-hot Parker and Duncan. This was a team on a ridiculous winning streak that was completely shut down by one mentally-soft player who Pop coddled. If you replace Turkoglu with Jefferson that team almost certainly gives Detroit a monster of a series in 04, and maybe even takes them out.
He had 4 bad games-- but that still doesn't dispel the point I'm trying to make that just because you have one bad series doesn't mean you are forever a choker. Even the best "clutch" role players have had ty performances throughout a series before-- it's about sample size. Even Robert Horry had terrible playoff performances throughout a series. It's about sample size to correctly assess ones ability to perform in the playoffs. Turkoglu proved that by providing many game winners and great performances for the Magic in the playoffs the following seasons.

You realize if Manu didn't get hurt in the last game of the regular season(Popo should be fired), that we could very well have been hoisting another banner last year?

We're a better team than the Mavs.
    Heh.

It's in the Think Tank. Yahoo reported early this morning the Spurs really want him.
Will Motiejunas play in the NBA next season or does he have a similar situation as Valanciunas?

That 04 series pisses me off way more than the Dallas loss in 06. That was an all-time great Spurs team. Even though they had a juggernaut waiting for them in Detroit while 06 would have been a guaranteed le had they won game 7, seeing that Spurs team sabotaged by one player was hard to watch.
I agree 110%. It sucks ass that the Spurs had 2 chances for back to back les or even a 3-peat. 03'-04'-05'. Or even 05'-06'-07'.

Scott Howard-Cooper Kings acquisitions were NOT to flip them into a deal with the Spurs, I am told.

RT@ ProbballDraft Motiejunas is a target for the #Rockets & #76ers too. #Spurs are also willing to deal George Hill to move up, possibly to #Jazz

Turkoglu was as wide open as a player could be from games 3-6. I doubt he had anyone further away from him in shootaround before game. Phil Jackson deserves props for sticking to his plan when Turkoglu had that one good quarter to begin Game 4 though.

Whoever the Spurs are targeting in the lottery, my guess is they are using their history in drafting foreign players as a smokescreen to their advantage.

Do you disagree? We're 1 year removed from manhandling the Mavs into submission, and we're much better than that team that manhandled them.

You don't have time to screw around with mentally soft players when you're trying to win les right now. Turkoglu cost the Spurs bigtime, and it's not like he had a great playoff reputation from Sacramento either. I give him props for his one good year in Orlando, but what was that? 5 years later?

To be fair, the only role player who played worth a from games 3-6 was Devin Brown. Tony Parker was more of the culprit for the loss. He was pathetic games 3-6.
