As a Jew, I think the whole "chosen people" thing is stupid and it's egocentric for any Jew to seriously think he/she is one of god's chosen people. As you said, he wouldn't let 6,000,000 of his "chosen people" get gassed to death or mutilated in various ways.

Btw, I already said a part of me believes in god. Randomly bringing up an AIM conversation is a great argument tho. Too bad saying you believe in god and saying you're a christian are two different things.

Does this not mean that slave owners are allowed to beat their slaves near death because the latter are the property of the former?
My mom would read to me that passage as a child and then proceed to beat my ass...my dad never spanked me..not once...
