Di Maria and Lavezzi can play on the midfield. Too many "disrupters" doesn't work for Argentina. Mascherano is good destroying but he doesn't have the foot and will Cambiasso has. I would swap them giving the starting job to the forementioned.

Why don't you guys just send hookers to Batistas room? Problem solved.

Bielsa left tired of the pressure, the situation i doubt he's eager to come back there.

Please... the guy was on the brink of dying because of coke OD... He's probably hitting a few hoes tonight.

The only way to get him out would be losing to Costa Rica... and tbh, I can't get myself to cheer for them but it would only be right.

Agree on DiMaria, plus he can play the wing where we have nobody to stretch the other team's defense. But Lavezzi is a striker in Napoli. He's a guy that lives inside the penalty area. Which is why he sucks as anything else.

    Oh .

No way Costa Rica beats Argentina. tbh, Costa Rica is the type of team you want to play it will give the players confidence.

I'm not so sure anymore, not too long Argentina starting team minus Messi draw with this same Costa Rica team.

Nope. Lavezzi plays the 10 in Napoli. The strikers are Cavani and the Croatian dude I cant remember...

I think Arg needs a classic forward in the area too. Their lacking of presence in there.

I'd put a midfielder who can get the ball to Messi near the area and Huguain as forward. Take out Tevez and Lavezzi. I'd take out Banega too, the guy is a joke. I'd like to get Aguero in somewhere but I wouldn't know where..gee Argentina has too much talent.

I thought Cavani was more of an attacking midfielder... but I believe you. I haven't seen Napoli in a while.

I'm ready to hand the reigns to Bilardo if necessary... he'll play Romero + 8 defenders + Messi + Higuain... but I bet you we win more games that way.

Never, Bilardo is senile right now. I would take him out of the NT for good, I don't even know what role he is playing but he's in there contaminating the whole thing.

I think Bielsa would fit better, although I highly doubt he's up to take this team in this situation. He likes more taking control of long term deals.
Bianchi was never considered because of his relationship with Arg football board.
I guess Sabella is a good candidate.

I think Argentina can turn this thing around.

We can't even get the ball that far... Tevez gets to the corner of the penalty area and start trying to do his thing. Messi is picking up the ball at midfield. Lavezzi runs the wing, then can't even center a ball.

That's why I'm saying you need a classic 10 like Pastore. He can pass the ball and play some back and forth passing with Messi. Then you do need somebody to finish the play. I don't know what this guys doing with 3 defensive midfielders out there.

That's my point precesily. A 10 who can get the ball up there. Pastore likely. I don't know if Aguero plays the 10. Although I think he's too forward minded to that position.

Bilardo was never sound. He's always been crazy as .
But he understands one thing that most other coaches do not: You build your team from the back. You start from a solid defense and go from there.

I keep asking for Pastore, but he won't hide the deficiencies we have at the back. The hope is we can score more than the other team. Unfortunately, unless we get a completely defensive minded coach we're not getting excellence at the back again.

Agüero is a finisher. Much like Higuain. He can run from behind if there are open spaces, but when it's tight, he's only good to finish plays.

Bielsa isn't picking up the phone while Grondona is still there. Much like Bianchi.
Pekerman might. Sabella, Gareca, Russo are also good candidates. Borghi and Martino too if they wouldn't be coaching other NT.
