You missed the entire point, as did most of the people in this thread. The argument is whether Yao deserves to be in the HOF for his impact on the NBA globally. He put the NBA on televisions that wouldn't have given a otherwise. He did more to the brand than just about anyone in the NBA today. Yes, Yao had a forgettable on-court career, but that's not what anyone is arguing. You people really can't really be this dense.

And for the record, I've wanted Yao off of the roster the past 3+ seasons.
