My biggest question is, will TexAgs continue to call Santos "Roadhouse?"
I read that Tray Allen lost 16 pounds this off season and is down to 304. Very encouraging to see weights going the right way for once. It'd be huge if Allen can be the answer at LT.
Fozzy looks jacked, like a different person. Hopefully, 2011 is his breakout year.

Texags hates Santos now. You should know this.
[RUMOR] Just read something interesting about Agholor. Said he contacted Auburn to inquire about playing WR and AU told him fine, we'll give you a look there if you want.
Anybody else heard anything along those lines? Has he said anything to any other teams about this?
It's a message board rumor, so tifwiw

Also, on DGB, Auburn's Rivals guy, Jeff Lee, said AU will get an official visit from DGB in the fall. He also said that although OU/Mizzou lead big that Auburn is in third now after his recent visit.

Great to see Irby practicing.
OL DJ Humphries of Charlotte, NC committed to Florida yesterday. Says he may still take official visits to other schools.

Here's the updated pics from yesterday's practice. They added the evening workouts with the younger players. Interesting to see DB Bryant Jackson working at WR.

Andrus Peat, one of the country's top offensive linemen for the 2012 class, has cut nearly two-thirds of the schools that have offered him a scholarship and now has a lucky top 13, the 6-foot-7, 280-pound tackle told Sporting News this weekend.
Peat, a consensus five-star prospect, is out of Corona Del Sol High School in Tempe, Ariz. — Pac-12 country — but his final list isn’t exactly full of Pac-12 schools.
Alabama, Arkansas, Auburn, Florida, Florida State, Miami, Michigan, Nebraska, Notre Dame, Oregon, Stanford, Texas and USC made the cut. Only three — Oregon, Stanford and USC — are Pac-12 schools. His brother, Todd Peat, signed with Nebraska in February.
“I don’t have any leaders,” Andrus Peat told Sporting News. “Those are in no particular order.”

He's lying, at this point I don't think it's possible to have a top 13 without an order.
I see it coming down to us and Nebraska
general consensus i'm seeing seems to be nebraska, texas and fsu lead. i wouldn't rule out any of the other schools either. i expect peat will take some visits and doesn't want to burn bridges by playing his hand early which is smart way to play it.
man i hope we get peat, the idea of him on field as freshman block for brown and gray sounds pretty damn good. i miss the old power football days.
You can tell Ash took those summer workouts seriously. Physically, he looks like he's been in a college system for a while now. I don't think it means much, but interesting that he took all the reps with the 1s this morning.
Also, OL Garrett Greenlea may have to redshirt after all. He reported to camp with mono. No word on how long his recovery time will be.

LB Tariq Allen (who was pegged for a transfer earlier in the year) is back with the team for fall camp. He hasn't worked out as of yet, but word is he may try to be a member of the team this season. Odd development and I don't know where he'd see time, but he's been on the sideline for the past few practices.
Interview with C David Snow from last night:

Most you already know, but figured I'd post that today is the first day of full pads as well as the first day where all of the players (regardless of age) will be practicing together.
I like Tariq coming back as a walk on. If Allen can earn an scholarship, more power to him. There are some concerns about Allen being able to play in space, but if Allen can contribute on special teams and doesn't occupy a scholarship that's a bargain for Texas.
I am looking forward to the first glimpses of what Malcolm Brown can do against a college defense.
Hopefully he will practice soon.
