I have about as high an opinion of him as I do Perry. When he got the nomination over Bradley in 2000 I lost all respect for the Democrats. He had good hair too though.

You know what they say, those who cannot get good grades, go into politics.

For those relishing the news of these grades, aren't any of you concerned that private records can be dug up so easily? What if it was your records in display to the world?

Two more things. Please notice that this was the start of the 4 point system, and remember, school in the 60's wasn't a cake walk like it is today. Those C's were probably as hard to get as the A's kids get today. Education just isn't what it used to be.

I just said that America will be better off financially and in leadership positions once the baby boomer's moved on into the sunset. Generations aging and dying is a natural process and I am just pointing out that i think their is going to a brighter tomorrow.

You do, of course, realize education is not required at all to be elected President or Governor. So, what they should or shouldn't have, in the way of grades, is irrelevant.

Many people who have failed to apply themselves academically, while they were young, have matured and become quite successful. Governor Perry is (apparently) one such example.

I can't believe anyone really thinks this is going to be an issue for Perry.

Perry is governor of Texas due to dumb luck and good hair.

Now that he can put governor on his resume, his mediocre grades in animal science probably won't be an issue for stupid voters like you.

Which is more an indictment on America than it is a tribute to Perry. The average American being a dumb construction worker with no post-HS education who views anyone with a prestigious educational background as an "elitist" is everything that's wrong with this country.
