Did you do the tweaks to speed it up?
This tablet is ok but a far cry from an iPad 2 lots of lag nowhere near as scrappy screen is duller than iPad and let's not even talk about the joke of an app store

PC Mall has them in stock again, but their website is getting slammed. I can get to the page that shows them in stock, but trying to add them to your cart isn't working.
Edit: And now you can't even find the TouchPad on their site, so they must have sold out. Again.

Just found them on BN.com (16GB only). $101.95 instead of $99 for some reason and 32GB model not available. Site pretty responsive, too. No free shipping and you have to pay sales tax, still a bargain.
I just ordered one from B&N now. If I end up with extras, I'll offer them up to family first at cost but if not then I'll offer them up to fellow ST posters as long as you pay what I paid for it and shipping to you.
I got one from B&N also! I went to Best Buy on military this morning before they opened. There was about 6 of us in line and a lady came out before they opened and said they were sold out. Said to try the forum location. They were suppose to have about 60. Well I went and were sold out. Haven't been checking on slickdeals.net for awhile, but was lurking around and saw the B&N order go live!
, I went to an Office Depot in Austin first thing yesterday (the one near Highland Mall that nobody ever goes to) and they said they were already sold out. Glad to find one. There's already a working group doing an Android port so if WebOS does go bellyup we'll have some options.
Wonder if I should get a SquareTrade warranty on this ...
Cuban, just so you know, I know that they have been working on android, but the precentral community has already gotten ubuntu to run on the TP too, so, it seems that we have options.

Would not be surprised as it's still showing available this morning. It's now the #1-ranked item in terms of sales across all B&N.

B&N tells you they don't charge you until they ship. Mine was definitely charged overnight yet the supposed ship date is Wednesday. There's a lot of commentary out there saying people are getting orders in the exact same state cancelled and that trying to get in touch w/B&N customer support is ridiculous. B&N won't let YOU cancel your own order for these either.
Well I checked my bank account and nothing is pending from paypal. So hopefully it goes through. I'm sure more sites today will drop their price so I'm going to try and get another one just in case. Its been a crazy week on slickdeals.net
Manny this was made to compete with an ipad and at a similar price point originally. They failed hard. Yes i did the speed tweek but it still has lag especially when reopening a card or tab there is 3 4 5 seconds of hesitation before the newly opened card "wakes up" I did the speed tweek as well. It does make it a bit snappier upon opening the card but theres still some hesitation. Touch screen is nowhere near as accurate. I could go on and on about features missing that the ipad has. For what its being sold for now its a no brainer but my point was this was supposed to give the ipad a run for its money (if thats possible) and is nowhere near as good aside from playing flash, and the card mul asking which i found refreshing.
That being said ive sold all 5 of mine for a profit still have one more coming.
i ordered the first night through hp card charged and email came in yesterday morning so im assuming thats going through 133.10 shipped 32 gig
Im buying one and hoping for the android port. I guess most people are getting them because they are cheap.

I got an email from HP telling me they had my order and to wait for a conformation email soon. Considering they charged me they better have my order.
