[QUOTE=Heath Ledger;5389035]Congrats on missing the point of the post.
Everything that I have read states that it doesn't matter if you leave it on or not.
[QUOTE=Heath Ledger;5389035]Congrats on missing the point of the post.

Cool, since we have preware now, you don't have to keep that on in order to do patches? Or do you need to turn it on anytime you want to add things in preware?
Also, do you need to just randomly shut it down and re-start to keep speeds up?
If you want to run Hulu but are having problems, try these instructions:

That inventory checker said there were some in Temple. I thought about making the hour-long drive to check but decided against. There are also supposedly some at the Park Lane store in Dallas, off Central Expressway.
[QUOTE=Drachen;5389051]im not missing the point of . you are not the early adopter king of the touchpad.![]()
[QUOTE=Heath Ledger;5389333]well even though you still missed the point, the bolded part actually IS the point.
Are you having any issues on ST since doing the fixes Drac? Sometimes it won't let me post (gives me an error message) and it doesn't show the updated threads (for example, it shows that CubanMustGo made the last post in the thread at 9:24 a.m.). Often times it won't let me see any posts beyond a certain point last night (for example, I see on the thread that CubanMustGo made the last post at 9:24 am which is wrong, but when I click the thread, the last post it goes to is mine that says "thanks drachen! post #241 at 9:12 yesterday).
Any ideas?
Annoying issue with the browser. The way it draws on the cahced webpage is annoying as . Just use the reload button for now. Only fix I know of.
Was this only after you did the fixes, Manny? Because before did that, it worked fine.
the pre did that too, so its probably a webos thing
I havent messed with preware yet
anymore links to sales? Im not having any luck.
I haven't had problems yet, though I just received MY touchpad today
Finally got a shipping date from HP (SMB). Supposed to get it on the 6th.
Crossing my fingers!
i experience some login issues regarding cookies several times using various forums on the touchpad.
the browser is garbage.
yes. The browser's pretty subpar. Autocorrect on this thing is bad as well.
Wonder if this is worth the $3, then:

According to SlickDeals the Best Buy shipments are pretty much done.... but then they just posted this in the Best Buy thread: http://www.droidmatters.com/news/bes...pad-shipments/ which indicates that no, more will be coming and supposedly there will be a form you can fill out to indicate that you want one. We'll see.
One of the resellers (Datavis) claims that HP will be coming out with another batch but at a higher price:"We believe we will get 1 last shot of them as HP is building more. YES they do cost more than $80-$90 and everyone that HP sold for $99 was a loss. You will get your item AT THE CHEAPER PRICE YOU PAID. The next batch for new orders will be considerably more. We do not know the higher price, but please also keep that in mind when complaining,HP themselves have said absolutely zip. The @BrynaAtHP twitter account has done nothing but say 'no news today, come back next week.'
I don't know why HP would manufacture more unless they have a load of unfinished inventory (screens, CPUs, cases, etc) they're stuck with, because they are losing ~$250 for each unit sold at $99. Parts cost $300, assembly at a China sweat shop is $10, shipping/payment to sellers has to run at least $40. Even if they had this stuff lying around the screens and CPUs could be sold for nearly cost as they are decent quality stuff. Batteries could be kept for spares.
I can't see that happening.
Looks like that's for a phone. Doubt it would run full screen on the TP.
Sorry. How about some free apps, then?
