Finally got around to install preware. Patching now. Thank god for the add download link option patch. Annoying as to click on podcast links in the browser and to HAVE to steam them.

i m just glad I finally got one of these. I spent way to much time refreshing threads on slickdeals not to get one!

I originally got one to port it to android. WebOS is just lacking in the app department. Wouldn't mind keeping webOS but having an emulator to run android apps ie palmdroid.

Nothing is going to work because nothing plays DRM files on WebOS right now. Its because you bought it from iTunes.

I know that, but on that website, there were some solutions offered to re-format (such as downloading HandBrake) that seemed to work for some, but I couldn't get it to work.

I still want to find a way to rip DVD's that I own (actual hard copies) onto my PC and then onto my HPTP. I'm sure I can buy software but was looking for something free and haven't found anything suitable yet.
