    I'm a man that don't don't own a tongue ring. Sorry.

You mad bruh? Fine, Kobe didn't play until he was 18. I said he was drafted at age 17 which is true. Now you moving goal posts. Is it Kobe's fault he was the only guard in NBA history good enough to be drafted straight out of high school? How about practicing with the 76ers at age 16?

Kobe's not a TOSB so he will play well beyond 35. No need to worry. And despite the fact that every year (other than the tanking to draft Bynum) he's been in the playoffs. This part of your post is irrelevant.

Don't give me any of that BS. Kobe can play in any era and dominate. You right, that era was physical and I stick by my guns when I say Tongue Ring wouldn't be no better than Daughterty was. You need evidence? He's too slow for most PFs like Stoudamire, Gasol, KG, etc. so now that you guys play him at center (his college position) he is reduced to 13/8. That's Chris Mihmesque if you ask me.

    Especially at age 35

Do you want to know what Chris Rock thinks about people that wear tongue rings?

Face it dude, the only reason this thread exists is to take the heat off of Tongue Ring. Tongue Ring is celebrated for having a 1,000 straight seasons of 50 or more wins, yet in still it's:

    Kobe: 5
    TOSB: 4

There you go again with your obsession of all things Spurs. You can't even help yourself in a thread about PERIMETER players. You just gotta pull out the "but, but, but... at least Kobe is better than Duncan" excuses to cover for your sperm donor.

As for the bolded part above, if that's true, it sure hasn't stopped YOU from spinnin in circles trying to defend Kobe at every turn, has it.

Damn, you Kobe lovers are too easy....

    "but, but, but... Duncan...."

come on, might as well say it, I know it's right there on the tip of your lips (along with Kobe's spunk, that is)

By the way, nice double negative up there. I guess you subconsciously just admitted you DO own a tongue ring. Explains why you're suckin Kobe off all the time.

(oops, better edit that QUICK, then deny it, or say I was "editing your quotes" like you like to do)

Good to know you're secure about something, since you're obviously insecure about Kobe's place on the list of all time perimeter players, as evidenced by you constantly posting in a thread designed to troll weak minded Laker fans like you. It's OK, the mileage has gotten to him, that's all.

Second, he was in a seat belt until Eddie Jones had an injury when he was 19. So for him to be #6 all-time after really 13 years of work is pretty damn impressive
In the beginning, let me say that I have no intention to troll as I'm not interested to join this fight between some Laker and Spurs fans, but pls LkrFan explain me two things:

Firstly, if you don't count Kobe's first two years due to the reasons mentioned above, why do you count the points he scored within these years?

Second, he was in a seat belt until Eddie Jones had an injury when he was 19. So for him to be #6 all-time after really 13 years of work is pretty damn impressive
It's either or. Either you say he has played 15 years so far and scored 27,868 points or you say 13 years and 26,109 points. You can't mix it. In case you take the latter of these two options, he's #13 in points scored right now.

Secondly, I recall that many Laker fans here claimed various times that Kobe's numbers during the tree-peat were that good that he wasn't a 2nd option at all. Now you wrote:
    Active scorers:

    1. Shaquille O'Neal 28,596 (+692)
    2. Kobe Bryant 27,904
    3. Kevin Garnett 23,323 (-4,581)
    4. Dirk Nowitzki 22,792 (-5,112)
    5. Ray Allen 22,286 (-5,618)
    6. Tim Duncan 21,663 (-6,241)
    7. Paul Pierce 21,410 (-6,494)
    8. Vince Carter 20,520 (-7,384)
    9. Antawn Jamison 18,128 (-9,776)
    10. Tracy McGrady 18,108 (-9,796)

Look at Kobe and his peers. He is on Shaq's ass and Shaq's been the man (#1 option) since day one. Kobe didn't become #1 option until 2006 - his 10th year in the league.
So, now Kobe wasn't the man despite all those previous claims? Pls explain. Additionally, Shaq left in 2004. Who was then the #1 option between 2004-06?
