keeping the continuity correct on this show must be on the writers. They know people like us examine everything in minute detail
Just when I think this show can't get any more awesome. ^

They have their work cut out for the final season. Do you guys think walt doesn't give a about jesse anymore or was the poisoning of the boy just another case of walt not truly respecting jesse? I think he has consistently shown he does not respect jesse but has still liked him and valued him for at least a small bit of non selfish reasons
Well that whole piece about him crying to his son was basically him acknowledging, he ed up with Jesse. He still views him as ignorant even though he can cook the meth just fine and he almost figured out Walt's plan. It wasn't disrespect as much as it was do what you have to, to survive.
Tony Montana shooting Tio Salmanaca
I had no idea that was Tio.
Any time a character is wearing a green outfit, they are Breaking Bad
I think the creator of the show mentioned in an interview that he might leave that unexplained. He compared the Chilean backdrop to the suitcase in Pulp Fiction.
So what does purple mean
So I don't come into this thread because I am usually a few episodes behind, but I am caught up... Damn all of this stuff is cool! The easter eggs are great too.

The stuffed animal with the same side of it's head obliterated and missing the same eye as Gus was from season two.
Remember, too, that when Walt was playing spin the gun, it landed square on him more than once.

Anyone remember that movie Nothing to Lose with Martin Lawrence and Tim Robbins? Turns out Gus was one of the gangsters. Blew my mind to see that .

I'm disappointed to hear that it's only going to be one more season.
5 seasons is good. No need for this show to overstay it's welcome. 16 episodes, at that.
popular TV shows should always quit at the top. Too many go way past their time.
I'm just wondering how long you thought a show with a lead character in stage 3+ lung cancer might last...
in hollywood? depends on how good of ratings the show gets. if breaking bad wasn't a hit walt would have kicked the bucket already.
well jesse was supposed to have a horrible death in season 1.
I can't imagine it hasn't been mentioned before, but I have been rewatching the Wire with my gf, and I can't believe I never noticed Gale was a douchy editor at the paper.
Please explain... how do you know this?
He also plays a murderous corrupt cop in 'Damages'.
