I don't have Rivals account but they have story on Edwards that he appears to be dropping FSU. I think it is safe to expect it says OU is now leader.

Apparently Mario Edwards has strong interest in LSU now. No mention of Texas.

Edwards said that while he is still committed to the Seminoles, Oklahoma and LSU have caught his attention as possible college homes.

Edwards said the defenses of Oklahoma and LSU made him want to explore other options. Before last week, LSU and Oklahoma had the No. 1 and No. 3 defenses, respectively, in the country. The Sooners lost to Texas Tech this past weekend, but Edwards still saw the positive in the team.

"The really impressive thing with OU was that they didn't give up," he said. "They almost came back after being down by a lot. That really impressed me."

Possibly. The latest is Texas getting an official in December or January, but it wouldn't surprise me if it didn't happen at all. FSU will supposedly get the last visit.

Some good news...

**The UT track coach called DB Adrian Colbert earlier this evening to check in. Here are some quotes on the situation:

"I got a call from the Texas track Coach (Mario) Santenga. He said he was going to be talking to Coach (Duane) Akina about me," Colbert said.

"They were going to offer until my football status started to rise, so now they may give me a football offer and let me run (track) in the spring." Colbert said.

**Various reports coming out tonight on OL Donald Hawkins. He will be making an official visit to UT but the date isn't set in stone yet. One report says he could make it to Austin as early as this weekend while the other says it will all depend on his team's playoff schedule. It has him visiting on November 5th for Texas Tech or November 19th for Kansas State.

Colbert, Daje Johnson and Hawkins would be a good trio to close the fall on.

It's fascinating that Colbert or Johnson could be the next commit and they weren't even on the radar in August.

Update on OL Andrus Peat...he's still listing Florida State, Nebraska, Stanford, Texas and Notre Dame as his top five. He's even giving Florida some consideration because the Gators' OL coach, Frank Verducci, coached his father at Northern Illinois in the 80s. He currently has two official visits on his agenda. He'll be visiting Stanford on November 12th for the Oregon game (ESPN should be there that weekend) and he's re-scheduled Nebraska for Thanksgiving weekend. All other visits will come after that point.
