Here is a tale of two Heir apparents in their last meetings ever. One handled his business. The other did too...sorta. You make the call:

MJ v. Dr J - 11/31 for his 34 points - get this: Dr J was a tired old bag at age 37 . MJ couldn't even send his old as to AARP without shooting an AI-esque ty percentage.

Meanwhile, years later when he became the tired old bag, there was a new kid on the block (literally), laying in wait to do the seemingly impossible: on MJ. This kid could have gone to any basketball power in the NCAA. Verbally he committed to Duke, but his heart was set on kicking NBA ass. There was no stopping him.

MJ came back out retirement, thinking he would rule he NBA, just like he used to against people less athletic than him. In his heyday, the only athletes comparable to him athletically could be counted on one hand: Reggie Lewis, Joe D, Reggie Miller, Nique, and Drexler. That's it. Since had the refs in his back pocket, they never stood a chance more often than not.

MJ came out hitting a few shots in Staples, and begin feeling good about himself. What he didn't realize was this would piss off his heir apparent. There would be no denying this young stud. Not tonight. It was a bloodbath of epic proportions. In the aftermath it went like this:

Kobe: 55 points. MJ: 23 points. Kobe had 42 of that by halftime. . MJ was known for scoring, but Kobe outscored him by 32 points that night.

Head to head: Kobe 5, MJ 3.

So not only will he end up with more points than MJ, he stands only 1 rang behind him. MJ should be nervous right now hoping, wishing, and begging that this is a lost season. Let's look at the variables that are in Kobe's favor for catching his ass this season:

    - they were swept. He'll come back with a vengeance trying to prove himself
    - his knee is better. Much better. According to Tim Grover, he is all the way back (yes, MJ's old trainer ).
    - Gasol. He was punked in 2008 only to come back stronger leading to
    - Lakers area veteran team. The longer the lockout, the more rest they get. See first point

And when (not if)Kobe gets number 7, I don't want to hear about MJ ever again.

    Now this if you can.

You won't hear a peep here. This place would never survive Kobe's 6th, must less his 7th.

It is barely surviving his 5th.

I couldnt have said it better.
Of course not, but that's no indication of it's quality.

You could have said it the same, maybe, but with a load of misspelled words and grammatical errors.

    Nah.

We would find a way to dismiss it.

He's only got 2 tbh, and even those are questionable. Had Pau been there first, he would have been considered the 1. Notice they didn't get far once Pau went s up.

Not really. Jordan came into the league as the man on his team. Kobe had to work his way up to that status. Jordan would have been a second option to a 7'1" 315lb 24-year old superstar if he played with Shaq as a 17 year old rookie. Oh that's right, he wasn't good enough to come into the league at that age. How could I forget that Kobe was the first guard in NBA history to successfully make the jump to the pros a few months after his HS senior prom? Despite having to sit behind Eddie Jones for a few years. Despite not really getting any playing time (due to Del Harris' dumbassness) and having to "wait his turn" he is right there on the immortal Jordan's fake ass.

    Jordan - 32,292 pts
    Kobe - 27,868 pts

When it's all said and done, Kobe will have more points and more rangs. Then maybe Kobe will finally get his due. It will be kind of hard though - admittedly. Why?

    - Most white people in the media are turning a blind eye to the fact that one of their own was a . How ty you ask? So ty that she had 3 different strands of DNA in her panties when they investigated Kobe's "rape"

    - Shaquille O'neal's jealousy. He never appreciated a player like Kobe. Kobe didn't joke around, make stupid movies, ty rap albums, nor did he throw wild parties and invite the media (and probably refs). Since the media loved him, anything he says about Kobe had to be the truth. His fatass did more damage to Kobe image through the media than what happened in Colorado - bar none. He's retired, and he still jealous of Kobe writing supposed sacred locker room stuff in his book. Kobe's moved on (and past 5:4) Shaq. How does Kobe's ass taste?

    - Jordan's Legend. I swear, that grows daily. Fact is, Kobe is doing the same Jordan did, but against better compe ion. Even in his 15th year and more mileage. There is nothing that Jordan did in the '80s/'90s that Kobe could not have done.

Kobe is coming for his ass and he knows it. He's an owner now, so he trying to lock Kobe out. Jordan wants a loss season so that Kobe can't catch him. It won't work though Jordan. It is Kobe's destiny to surpass your ass.

Jordan came and left as the man on his team.(came back for some pickup games)

You mean he got shaq traded. Then he begged to be traded. Then collusion...

Did you see this video DMC posted.

Kobe was a second option he know that. He also know he shouldn't be compared to MJ.

Yes, and 2nd option couldn't make it out of the first round till Pau came.

And Pau should have been the finals mvp.

And kobe couldn't win a game in the second round with a 100 million dollar roster.
