I love military threads on this site.

I can respect people in the military for making a tough decision/living that way of life....but as of today, I have literally NOTHING to thank them for. I don't thank people for doing their ing job.

If I see a WWII vet, I will thank them.

Yeah what's up with the whole jealous shtick. I'm saying the same things DoK is saying and all three branches basically begged me to join for about 2 or 3 years after high school, until I finally got smart and had someone else pick up and tell them I don't live here anymore.

Same. The military is less selective than Devry University . I got at least 30 calls from recruiters during me senior year because of how desperate those sticks are.

My friend told them to off and the dumbass army recruiter actually threatened to come up to his job, my friend (big ass football player, heath's twin you know him, probably 5'11 275lbs and strong as at the time) was just like okay? see you there got.

Scandalous news stories didn't generate pictures of American soldiers with errotic fantasies taking pictures of naked Iraqi POWs piled on top of each other.

I'm not excusing the actions of those service members in the news stories or in the YouTube videos. I'm saying their actions don't represent the vast majority of service members.

You've tried to paint the service member as lazy, stupid, sadistic, etc. based on these videos and one friend. You've never spent time with military men and women, you've never served with them. In other words, you have no credibility to pan an entire group of individuals in any light.
