I dont get the jealousy motive.
Military is not hard to get into.
Most of the people signing for the military are people who cant hold a job.
Some just wants free education.
Some didnt have plans in life.
You can get a better job in the real world with bigger pay and better schedule and better house and better boss.
Most of the people I saw yesterday posting in facebook about "military gra ude" stuff are the same people I knew who were the pot smokers, warehouse workers, dropouts and complainers...and they were still complaining about military duties and trainings and deployments even though they get paid and they voluntarily signed up for that job.
I work average 12 hour days, when not deployed. I have a degree that would of started me off way higher than the salary I would make in the Army. There are alot in the Army with the same reasons. I think what is the most offensive is not the re s saying vulgar things because they are on the internet, but rather the generalization of people's reasoning for joining.
Oh and the education is not free. It is earned!
