No doubt in my mind we would kick the living out of them.
No thanks, i'd rather keep our scoreboard against them.

DB Adrian Colbert tweeted this earlier this week. Shows how much Mack puts into recruiting:

I actually wasn't a huge fan of him at first because his junior highlights didn't really do much for me and I know how poor his compe ion is in San Antonio ISD. It's clear he's a man, though. You can't have enough of those jumbo athletes.
Hook 'Em 24/7 reported earlier that a source of theirs close to DE Mario Edwards said the UT staff is working on getting the family to banquet weekend in two weeks for an official visit.
This may shock you, but I actually think Mario Edwards is quite overrated. I've watched a little of his games on television and I wasn't impressed. He has spectacular size but his motor isn't would it could be and he has plenty to work on. Great prospect, but one of those that could easily go bust which you wouldn't expect from a top 3 overall national recruit.
Doesn't shock me at all. Lots of people wonder why he's so highly ranked. I don't agree that he's a "once in a decade" type or understand why some think he's so special, but then again I'm not a professional scout. Don't get me wrong, I'd be thrilled if he picked UT but the hype doesn't match what I see on screen.
For those that are interested, you can stream QB Connor Brewer's state championship game tonight at http://www.aia365.com/videos/664. Kickoff is 6 p.m. CST.
Per Hook 'Em 24/7 this morning, OL Donald Hawkins has cancelled his official visit to Florida this weekend. His official to OSU is still on but rumors out there that this one is up in the air.
Yeah I don't OK State offers another JUCO OL if they're feeling confident about keeping Hawkins. Texas has to love where they sit.
Here's an attendees list from the game on Thursday night. Surprisingly there wasn't a lot of big names there, but these are the ones worth mentioning:
WR, Marcus Johnson, League City Clear Springs
-----------------------------------------------
RB, Keith Ford, Cypress Ranch
WR, Jake Oliver, Dallas Jesuit
TE, Christian Morgan, Plano Prestonwood Christian
LB, Deon Hollins, Jr., Fort Bend Marshall
ATH, Chevoski Collins, Livingston
Alright guys, here is the video. Don't make fun of the way I celebrate and yell.

Did you join the board just for this thread, lol? Regardless, awesome video. Like everyone else said, I felt like I was there watching it.
QB Connor Brewer and his Chaparral squad won the state le earlier this evening completing their goal of a three-peat. Off to Austin in January for him.

of course
Some visit updates...
**OL Donald Hawkins did cancel his official visit to Florida this weekend but instead showed up for Auburn/Alabama. It was considered an unofficial visit and Auburn doesn't appear to be a threat to Texas or Oklahoma State.
**DB Adrian Colbert took a trip to Norman to visit his sister and was in attendance for OU/Iowa State. The Sooners are still not showing interest which bodes well for UT. TCU is expected to make an in-home visit with the Colbert family this week.
