Talking about Mack's future, I'm purely speculating but Petersen and the UCLA job may be the one to watch. If there continues to be lukewarm interest there with no real progress being made, it's possible that there could be quiet communication with UT. If he takes the job, that's probably a good indication that Mack will remain for a while.

TFloss. That's why you saw the A&M staff still on the road recruiting hard while already having 25 commits. They are still actively pursuing close to 10 players for the 2012 class because they knew a few weren't as solid as they would like or wouldn't qualify academically.. Eddie Porter for 1.
Per @ESPNwilkerson, OL Donald Hawkins has decommitted from OSU and will not take his official visit to OSU this weekend as he was expected to.
This has Texas written all over the place.
Texas and A&M combined have probably now taken at least 5 recruits from Okie Lite.
I would also expect DT Alonzo Williams to de-commit. (Probably would have eventually either way). Jordan Richmond is also iffy.
If Matt Davis, Trey Williams and Bralon Addison decide to stick it out together than I suspect the rest of the class will follow. Those are the important 3.
Thanks. I know they're still recruiting a handful of guys but it seems they would have parted ways (or not offered him at all) if he couldn't qualify. He's been committed for a month and a half already. I'm not positive but there may be some different academic requirements in the SEC that could have allowed Porter to play.
That would help for sure. That would be like UT losing Gray or Brown.

It was actually harder for him to qualify in the SEC. Have to take tests in person as opposed to online (b12). Apparently, he wasn't successful. We might lose an O-Line commit because of this as well.

You can cheat at home.
Collins gave the usual responses. Humbled Texas is interested in him. Texas doesn't have to leave the state, but they want him. Bama and LSU were mentioned prominently, but Luginbill thinks Texas has a shot.
