Those are some good pics Floss. Edwards looks to be "feeling it" while Torshiro seems more reluctant.
Hopefully more reports will come out in the next few days but a lot of rumors going around that Edwards is really liking Texas at the moment. Davis either wasn't ready for the picture or he's bored.

If the Hat has conquered Shreveport, that's his last recruiting frontier. I hope Torshiro is having a good time, but it sounds like Texas has better shot with Super Mario.
There's a reason why coaches from opposing teams do all they can to get recruits to avoid the UT banquet. Texas has a realistic shot at almost anyone if they get them to campus for a visit, but put them in the banquet atmosphere with all of the other Longhorn commitments and it's takes things up a notch. The coaches will have given Edwards and his folks a lot to think about once they leave Austin.
Just an FYI that ATH Daje Johnson had his official visit to TCU this weekend.
The Daily Texan isn't exactly a recruiting source, but here you go:

Am told Texas in lead for services of DE Mario Edwards, for now. Here's a number: Edwards gives Longhorns a 65-percent chance.

Colbert's father has "Longhorns hats in hand" as well. Obviously it means nothing. But, as we said, he's committed according to two sources

What if Mario Edwards commited to Texas between now and Feb. 1st?
Please Gawd yes. If we get that defense together, just kick field goals and hope for the best. It worked for 2009 Bama.
Some recruiting news to go along with the Banquet

A good quote from QB Connor Brewer on bringing in a transfer or JUCO QB:
"We talked about it a little bit on my in-home visit. Its been brought up. They didn't say no but they didn't say yes, so I'm really not sure what they're going to do there. For me, it would be the same as it would have been had Gilbert stayed. I'd be able to come in, sit for a little bit, redshirt, and get to look at things before I get in there and play, which isn't a bad thing. To me, it's not that big of a deal."

If anyone missed it, UCLA has hired Jim Mora, Jr.
Thats good to know. A redshirt year is most often the ideal situation for a quarterback seeing that the position is so demanding. Glad he realizes that and isnt discouraged by it all.
Appreciate the kind words, man. We've got several great contributors on this thread. Stick around.
I've haven't seen this addressed yet, but the rumors of WR Darius White transferring are picking up steam. Believe it or not, Texas A&M is thought to be a possible destination for him. This one has always felt like a matter of time and his chances of significant playing time aren't going to get better with the stellar freshmen coming in. We'll see what the talk is after the Holiday Bowl.
White just looked a little lost out there for UT. A&M would be a good landing spot for him.![]()
Kevin Vaccaro has apparently been offered. (according to Kenny's twitter)
If this is a regular offer and not a greyshirt, it may help Kenny stay.
Edit: Kevin Vaccaro has committed.

I guess this just about wraps up this class. Anything after this will be bonus (DGB, Edwards, etc...)
