If we lose this one I'm going to seriously start looking forward to the lottery.

    Better start looking now.

Some of you became Spurs fans after they won their first le. You don't have any experience with the struggling Spurs before the color change.

We are about to hit a low again however, because our two lottery windfalls are all but gone.

Been there, done that. I'm ready for it again. Not the end of the world. Still a Spurs fan through and through, championship, lottery, or whatever.

Even if the way Spurs lose this game was strange with two opposite halves, the loss was logical and expected. Spurs are a good team but they aren't a great team. Miami is a great team that is clearly superior to them.

you should listen to El Che more often and you will not get your heart broken.

This team will flirt with 50% in a few days time.

Both teams had injuries. Spurs were without Ginobili and Ford.

well Miami is not a great team without Wade. They are a very beatable team.

but when you have Jefferson and Matt Bonner getting assraped on every possession....

This loss doesn't even come close to to the worst loss for the spurs that I have watched as a fan. That has to be the .4 game against the lakers. I couldn't even sleep that night after that loss.

I think that after going into halftime with a good lead, they got over confident and Lebron just ripped into them. We are not the 1st team that Lebron has done this to.

I watched the first half and was very impressed with what the Spurs were doing. In fact, half the third quarter was fine until the explosion.

What we saw from Lebron James was an aberration. As good as he is and as complete a player as he is, he is no Kobe Bryant. His offensive output and accuracy from 3 point land was a joke. If we played them again I'd hope he would try those shots again. He's a beast when he drives to the basket and is almost a lock to at least get to the line for the gimmees.

All that being said, I agree with OP that we won't be seeing them again this year or in the post season. The Thunder and Bulls seem to be the best in the league right now.
