Superstar once-in a generation players who make millions upon millions of dollars but are too unmotivated and uncommited to learn how to make FREE POINTS on a consistent basis is what ruins the game.

You think the poor FT shooters don't shoot hundreds a day? Of course they do. SOme guys are just bad at it.

The game is basketball, not foul the bad FT shooter. The rule should be as it is everywhere else in the world - intentional foul off the ball is 2 shots and the ball.

I pay to see basketball played, not a FT shooting contest.

Since the rule is as it is I have no problem with the coaches who use it strategically. I am arguing that the rule should change.
