Has anyone heard about Texas showing some interest in the 6'7 DE 2013 prospect Daeshon Hall? I can't find much info on him for football just basketball. I'm assuming he might get a junior day invite.

Losing Edwards isn't a big deal with our depth at DT. That said, I don't like how this class is finishing up, losing TJ, ME, and probably DGB.

I agree with y'all, it has to be a DE. Doesn't it? Danielle Hunter is my guess. He really liked Texas before picking LSU after UT decided not to offer.

Finally some info on 2013 RB Keith Ford from Hook 'Em 24/7. He does have an invite to either of the Texas Junior Days and both dates are open on his schedule, but he and his family are in the process of deciding which weekend they will travel to Austin. He already has Junior Days at Nebraska, Notre Dame and OU set. Major Applewhite has a tough sell on his hands with the Horns being stacked at RB for at least two more years and Ford is not a native Texan.
i pretty much wrote off getting top RB for class of 2013 when J Gray committed.
and if you haven't seen Gray just jumped to #2 in final ESPN 150. don't ask me who he is behind though as still sour grapes over that.

They've been hinting at Brooks making a surprise visit to campus since banquet weekend in December, so there must be a reason they're hanging on to this story. Maybe there will some real movement now that Brent Venables (his lead recruiter at OU) has taken the defensive coordinator job at Clemson. I'm curious as to what the staff's plans are now that they've set up ATH Daje Johnson for an official visit but they're still contacting Brooks. Similar players on the surface and you wouldn't think they'd offer both.
Looks like DGB will take an official visit to Missouri on the weekend of January 27th.
He may be truly undecided.
I really think that its between Missouri and Arkansas. Anyone who says that its a flip coin for us is wrong, but thats just my opinion and what do I know.

Update on Brooks...he has an official visit scheduled for this weekend but he's not giving out any info on where he's going. Keep in mind he's already had officials to OU and OK State.

Yes. He'll be attending Rockdale for his final semester of high school.
I had a gut feeling the early push with DJ Ward was a harbinger of bad news from Edwards.
Then Christo decides not to visit Texas. Now new pessimism on DGB. Remaining targets: Daje Johnson, Daniel Brooks and Vincent Hobbs. Yawn.
I love how the 2013 class is looking, but I dislike how the 2012 class is concluding.
I wish Texas was interested in Corey Coleman and Devonte Fields. Only 2 guys I could get excited about right now.
