UT Austin class of 2012 here
yes, i have a couple of t-shirts and a sweatshirt
I graduated back in 99! I was there when Phil Dawson hit the 50 yarder into the wind against Virginia, and all of the embarrassing home games the next year. Back when the student section was on the field![]()

Class of 2013
Does anyone have video of the Toshiro Davis signing? I can't find one.
Actually, any videos of signings would be great.
For some of you that may not be overly pumped about Raulerson, you should be. If you don't believe me look at his list of offers before the 2012 class even wraps up.

You've got your wires crossed.
The answer is the guy who talks through the computer at guys he won't ever have to play and likely will never see in his life. That guy's a real .
It's almost certainly Raulerson, but how cool would it be if it were Marcell Harris with Raulerson committing shortly after? Talk about a blast of momentum into JR days.
Odds we meet in a bowl game are very high. If there's even the slightest chance, promoters will make it happen. $$$$
Lol Matt Davis, that dumbass he still mad he never got his offer. He would have taken it in a second.
He's better than every QB that will be on UT's campus next year.
His senior year he had a 47.5 pass completion percentage and a 13TD/9INT ratio.
I'd slow your roll, he hasn't even taken a college snap yet.
How has Garrett Gilbert been doing since his incredible HS career?
I know for a fact the Texas coaches loved Matt Davis and were all over him before he got injured. In most years they would have stayed on him, but after the Gilbert debacle they could not take the chance he would not recover fully or would lose out on developing further after such a serious injury. It was simple risk aversion - for Texas fans saying Davis is not a take or worth an offer you are kidding yourselves.
At the Opening he and TJ looked amazing together. TJ is playmaker too. Keep in mind the Opening was 7 on 7, and TJ did struggle quite a bit more in UA practices and game when in press coverage. I originally thought he would step right in as a freshman, but think he may need a good year before he can handle the coverage and the physical play - especially now in the SEC West.
That said, the concern for the ags will not be offense with current players and offensive recruits coming in. The lack of playmakers on D and in particular big uglies on the D-Line should be a major concern. I think A&M make a huge mistake not taking coach with defensive background b/c I just don't see you guys ever getting those players.
That's exactly my point.
Whether it's a good or bad high school career, the fact remains he hasn't played a college game. It's laughable to say he is better than any QB on UT's roster. Maybe you just forgot the word "potential" or something along those lines because I do agree that he has the potential to be very good.
Great quote from Diaz on LB Peter Jinkens this morning:
"Peter's fast at everything except fax."
Annual spring game set for Sunday, April 1st.
rofl aggie self-ownage
is this a shocker though?
I wish we got a defensive minded coach too. But I'm happy with how Sumlin has done so far.
Mack is saying they want to add at least two tight ends in the next class.
Mack thinking 18 of the freshman next season will get PT, very high number but it seems we'll have guys who can perform a specialty role like Daje or Overstreet in Wild formation.
Speaking of this, DT Greg Daniels has been moved to TE.
Overstreet getting some packages would be pretty sick.
