If Peyton is 100% healthy, you sign him and lock him up for another 3-4 years on any team outside of NO, NE, GB and I guess Pitt.

Indy wouldn't even contemplate releasing him.

    But they are.

Daniel Snyder is still around, if the Colts want to get rid of Manning, get something in return. Redskins are notorious for their horrible trades/signings.

Like dirk4 just said, have you not seen Indy's line over the years? Peyton's got a quick release and either him or Brady would win no less than 12 games every year with those Cowboys weapons.
Peyton also wasn't dealing with a serious neck injury over the years. If we're talking Manning at 100%, I would take him even if the Cowboys had no offensive line at all.

However, we're talking about a guy who's career is realistically one play away from being over every snap

    Fair enough.

It's also true that while Romo has plenty of issues, the QB position is the least of Dallas's problems. Outside of Ware, Lee, and Jenkins their defense is a mess. Their offensive line was also a question mark last year and their RBs suck. Wherever Peyton Manning goes, he's gonna expect to keep the massive salary he has in Indy. Dallas has too many problems to commit caps space to a QB with a career threatening neck injury when they have a solid QB already.

Agreed. The Cowboys have a lot more glaring issues than QB.

Manning should look into the Cardinals. They finished 8-8 with a concussed and inexperienced Kolb and Skelton combination, losing 5/8 of their games by one score or fewer to some really good teams (Giants, Ravens, Bengals).

Cardinals will have Fitz, Well for a balanced offense, they have a young and aggressive defense and have proven their foundation is in place to be a QB away from legitimate contention.

Houston makes sense for Manning as well, as do the Jets. Teams like the Redskins, Dolphins, etc. don't for lack of talent and teams like the Niners have a solid option already in place.
the only draw back for manning going to az is warner joined and they won they went to the superbowl if he does not get them their
    OUCH

az record was bad at first because coaches were trying to much and they scaled back on the playcalling to more simple plays without training camp

All I was trying to say...perfect. The only thing I disagree with in this comment is the RBs suck. Felix sucks..absolutely. If Murray can stay healthy, he's solid. But I guess that depends on him being healthy, which is unlikely.

Not a huge Romo fan, tbh, though I know, just like DD has GOT to know that he is not our problem. Our problem is our secondary and O-Line, not to mention needing more than one pass rusher, but Peyton now has bone spurs where he had his surgery, and will more than likely need another surgery even if he DOES return. I think he's done, tbh. He'll probably try to make a comeback, and may even have a decent season, but I think, for his future, he should just retire.
Look bro, I know Tony is your wet dream of a QB with all his emotion, heroic speak, and playing through injuries "grit," but it might be time to take the Romo fathead off the bedroom wall and get behind a QB who can actually take you somewhere.

If Peyton is healthy, you take him. If not then yeah, stick with Vinny Testaverde.
Not listening. Like I said...not a big Romo fan. As a matter of fact, when he overthrew Austin against the Giants and smiled about it, I was ready to bench his ass. But the truth is, stat-wise, there's very few QBs better than him, and it's not his fault. This team doesn't know how to coach players up...it's a horrible thing to deal with as a fan, but it's a fact. Peyton will never be Peyton again, therefore, I wouldn't do it. Just a personal opinion.

I said the same and you tried to put me on blast. Of course if Peyton is 100% he's better than Romo. 100% Peyton is the best QB in the NFL bar none. But he's not...so you don't spend money on a QB who will always have neck issues for the rest of his life, even after his playing days...especially when you have a decent QB and MANY other problems.

it's so easy to put you on blast b/c you're the biggest homer on here. BUMP is not a homer so I didn't ride him about it.

"Not a fan of Romo." gtfo You're the same mother er whose ass got so red when the December Romo troll was unveiled, and you sucked wittle Tony off after the rib-injured niners game. Yeah, you definitely aren't a Romo fan

Yeah, QB is not their biggest concern, but that's like an AIDS patient saying the lesions on their face are the least of their worries. That's true, but you still have AIDS...and don't act like there isn't a -ton more games of him ing up besides those 5. If you think adding a couple studs to the secondary is going to put you past the likes of GB, NO, NYG, etc, then you're severely disillusioned.

A loser is a loser, anyway you cut it. Just because you like his name and he seems like a good ol' boy with American values and heart, it doesn't mean you have to drop to your knees and drain his balls.

December Romo troll came out three years ago...I was a lot more tolerant of Romo then. And I only got excited about the 9ers game because I finally thought he hit his stride where we might have a prayer. Had a of a game for a guy with a punctured lung and broken rib. I can be impressed by a player and not be a huge fan. If you call that a homer, that's fine..just get a better dictionary.

You're STILL defending him tooth and nail, despite 6 years of solid evidence that he's a glorified stat collector.

Really don't get your logic. I acknowledged him having one good game last year and I'm defending him tooth and nail. You're on the edge right now, and you're getting DAMN close to falling off. And he's a ing QB...stat collector? Isn't that what winning QBs do? Get stats? Yards? TDs? What the do you want him to do?

Correction..the Dallas Cowboys are mentally weak big-game chokers...not just Romo. And I guess I do defend him...but only from idiots who seem to think he's the only reason the Cowboys are losing, and we'll magically be fixed if we trade him. And it's not defending him necessarily...it's basically stating facts that it's the team that sucks..not just the QB.

How many of the same starters are still there from when he took over as starter back in 2006?
