Pop was addressing that he couldn't run Tim 40 mpg, so that yeah, they'd have to play small.

But I know they'll look for another big if Splitter is out for any time at all.
just hope they find a decent big...

Given the depth, Pop would probably have to come up with a fairly convincing argument to NOT have to use smallball. There's realistically one guy on the team over 6'8".

Yea its a shame they don't pick up one of the many athletic 7 footers out there, who can defend. Those guys are just waiting for a phone call from Pop.
I can think of two off the top of my head: Benson and N'diaye. The former is 6-11, the latter is 7-0. Both are athletic and shot blockers.

Looks like you lose again. Better luck next time.

You need to keep thinking, or quit thinking, tbh.

I haven't seen those guys really defend much yet. If they're just going to sign someone, it will probably be one of the vets out there.

Now there's no excuse to not sign a backup center. Then when Splitter comes back he can replace Blair in the starting lineup.

Milsap & Al aren't Blake; they're more skilled. They will eat up Kawhi IMO.
