And which war would that have been? Libya?
    No, Iran.

And we'd probably still be in Iraq.

Obama ended Bush's war. McCain woulda started another one.
You mean Obama presided over Bush's withdrawal timetable, right?

Put down Barry's koolaid. Bush and his cronies ended the war in Iraq before Barry served one day as president. It was a part of the agreement that was made that the troops would be out by 2011.

4 more years of bush or 16 years Total as the op suggest. Just another reminder of all the lies this man has told. He was suppose to be nothing like Bush, change and hope. Blame bush for gitmo, war, wire tapping, spending, gas, jobs, etc.....all to get elected for a job, a better pay day, power and greed. He did not do this for the people. He do this for himself.

Dems should have replaced him with a honest guy. No more of the same. True vision Is to understand the history, not to repeat it. God bless.

Althought, it's difficult to tell with the GOP hypocrites, ie. Cain-Romney-Perry squealing about the withdrawal and blaming Obama when it was Bush that negotiated it.

Have GOP advocates use stupid like this to try and make a point for starters. Even supporters can barely manage an echo of the actual issues as they transpire and the rest just leave that to spin and a lack of specifics.

    The willfully ignorant.

So all these Republicans saying Obama = Bush, are you cheese s ready to finally admit George Bush was a horrible president

You guys constantly defend Bush and his abortion of a presidency, then compare Obama to Bush like it's a bad thing in your eyes.

I vote for Bush in 2004 but I can admit and will admit that he was a ty president and caused massive damage to America and around the world. With that being said, Obama is like Bush because Obama supports the Patriot Act, Gitmo, nation building in the Middle East, not giving due process to American citizens, etc...
How can you not see that?

    Obama = Bush
National security procedures have not changed and he basically forwent his campaign promises along those lines and now hides behind classified memo's.

As pertains relations with the third world etc, just the rhetoric is light years different. There are no religious overtones and he is conciliatory. The action taken in Libya is a huge deviation from Bush's maverick foregin policy. We let France take the lead there.

Obama is either weak or coopted in terms of banking reregulations however he is not actively proposing further deregulations.

The tax code approach is different. That should be obvious.

Health care was coopted but do you think for a heartbeat that Bush would have proposed anything even similar to that. Wait, he did not.

Drug policy is different. Immigration has seen him do nothing whatsoever.

Really what it comes down to is a lot of people are pissed because Obama has continued with a lot of the totalitarian the Bush Administration enacted. So of course there are parallels but equating the two is just dumbing down once again.

When it comes to fighting terrorism and dealing with national security and foreign policy, Bush and Obama are very similar.

People bashed the out of Bush 24/7 when he was president but now that he's gone and Barry is the new man in charge, people act like it's a crime to bash Obama. The hypocrisy is hilarious.

Sorry but if nothing else the rhetoric is different and if you think that Bush would have let France take the lead on Libya you are deluding yourself. Generalizations are easier to understand but never tell anything but an approximation of what is going on.

I wonder if Obamacare has a zero deductible cosmetic surgery benefit like the Buffalo NY teachers have in their healthcare benefits package.

Who do you think is being more hypocritical. The liberals, or conservatives? The democrats, or republicans?

Yeah, I could tell already. Don't about someone you support. You I bet were a huge Bush fan from 2000-2008, then you heard "Obama is just like Bush!" so now you're pretending to hate Bush cause you found a trendy way to trash Obama.

Since republicans are convinced that Obama is the devil, it seems like it should be pretty obvious that they're probably not going to be the ones making any Obama = Bush equivalences. Since democrats are convinced that Bush was the devil, they're not going to be making those comparisons either.
