So what if he quit? I really don't get that shtick. He should quit like that more often in the regular season. Only bricklayers like Kirby care about 25 points a game in some meaningless regular season games. This is why I loved Shaq so much...se didn't give a about regular season and took his 20 games off during regular season, and laughed watching statpadders operate. Dirk should quit for 20 games a season until he retires tbh. Who cares?

No. Uh, uh. There is no NBA protocol that holds a player can quit for a week because a couple weeks earlier he didn't want to touch a basketball ever again. Sure, Media let it slide because, he's white and there was no % in it for them. And I'm white too, but, that aside Dirk quit. You can move along all you want, but, you're living with Dirk quitting and that's just the way it's gonna be, daddy.

Anyone notice the 3 hook shots dirk used last night? That hook is becoming more common and if he can master that , dirk will be even more unguardable imo.
I did actually. Thing is he's been talking about adding the hook for years yet rarely uses it. I think he said sometime ago that he practices it but has never been very sure of himself to use it in actual games.
If he adds that it means 1-2 more years of good play for him, because it's a shot that requires even less mobility than the one legged fadeaway.
