It depends on what you consider MVP. There has never really been an adequate definition, as far as I'm concerned.
Is it the player with the most talent/skill? Or the player that the team relies on the most?
I always consider MVP to be a player that helps his team win many games, but without him there, they would just be a scrub team winning nothing. He's the most valuable member of the team.
I think the Spurs would still be in the playoffs without Tony Parker. But, I definitely think he's a top 3 point guard, and lately, the best.
