All Texas universities suck. Except maybe the technology oriented ones in Austin.
UTSA isn't even AACSB accredited, is it? Well UTA is, making it a top 80 business school in the nation. I mean it's not the best thing ever, but that's why I'm transferring out to Wharton for my masters.
Tbh I'm not from Texas and I don't know too much about universities outside of the UC's, can someone fill me in why UTSA is considered such a ty school? the only evidence I have so far is that it produces people like lebomb, but surely that isn't enough to label all UTSA grads re s, is it?
^it probably has something to do with your local JUCO having better curriculum
^Its an average university tbh, no better or worse than most other Texas universities including UT-Arlington.
UTSA is accredited btw and has a better business program than Arlington. Proof youve been accepted into Wharton too got.
People commonly mispronounce it though, it isn't actually "UTSA" at all. In order for the UT system to meet strict discriminatory guidelines, they have to let in a certain amount of each race. Rather than let all the mexicans into UT austin and crap it all up, they created "UT- Ese" which is actually a primary hispanic branch. Tbh.
this
This is pretty good though tbh. If UTSAs business program wasnt better than the one youre enrolled in this wouldve been a knockout.
Why don't you guys do job smack instead of college smack? That's the point of college anyways
So what can you do with a business degree....
Flip Burgers?
Telemarketing?
Towel boy for SAS?
^Mexicans tend to be enamored with all things mexican and think they are "better" as some sort of reverse psychology coping mechanism to deal with their inferiority. Things such as mexican flags on their cars, obsession with mexican food, failure to assimilate into american culture and just outright disrespect as they make their best attempt at crapping up America, making it just like their homeland.
Of course your school is "better" brah, viva la mexico![]()
Tbh I hear that it's a good Masters degree to have, once you have a useful bachelors.....I believe mine was called Business/Economics with Accounting Emphasis, but I honestly can't think of any "business" classes I had to take....
Im a motha in engineer. boy over there is the finance and economics major supposedly.
your school program being ranked worse nationally than 'ut-eses' program![]()
Huh? Check earnings for finance/economics majors and get back to me.
However, here's what we know UTSA degrees lead to, even engineering:

What kind of engineer?
Oh I'm sure the earnings are fine, if you can actually find a job
Isn't it the most popular degree to get?

There's definitely too many "Business" degrees out there, but Economics/Finance/Accounting is a very solid degree to have.

This is part of package on college degrees and jobless rates. Read the other story: 25 college majors with the highest jobless rates.
Will I get a job when I graduate from college?
That's a huge question that college students are asking themselves, now perhaps more than ever. Students who select more marketable college majors are going to increase their chances of landing a job.
The Georgetown University Center on Education and the Workforce used U.S. Census Bureau statistics to tease out the unemployment rates for 173 college majors. I looked at the 100 most popular college majors and pulled out the 25 majors with the lowest unemployment.
