If the Spurs find themselves up 3-0, and given that we're going to be playing a game every other day, should Pop rest the big 3 in Game 4 and avoid a potential quick turnaround to the NBA Finals?
Discuss.
DISCLAIMER: the fact that there was one of these kind of threads for the previous two series is purely coincidental.
ElNono padding his post stats.
A few threads/suggestions that were tiring from the very first time they were ever suggested.
1) Should we "fear" x team
2) Should we tank/rest players
3) Should we lose a game

Big history does not recognize resting.
Let's just go for the juggular if we are blessed to be up 3-0.
I think we should lose the first three games to give Oklahoma a false sense of security, then get down big in game 4. Then 4th quarter comes....BAM! RIGHT IN THE KISSER!
I think we should lose the series ironically, just to show how little the Spurs care for accolades.
"You might be onto something there"
Rest hasn't been shown to prevent injury or improve performance tbh iirc imo tbh
We should rotate resting one of the big 3 each game of the series just to prove how great we are.
Pop should troll the Thunder by trotting out a starting lineup consisting solely of players from his bench...
E. Ginobili
G. Neal
T. Splitter
S. Jackson
M. Bonner / D. Blair
This will give the Thunder starters a big head, they will play complacently and will shatter their game plan...
All of a sudden Pop rolls out his starting unit... wait for it...

ALL at once!
Good tactic... would be about as memorable as employing the "Hack-a-Shaq" strategy on a season opener...
