Not knowing what a goal-tend is
Putting a team at a six point+ disadvantage per game by not calling goal-tending

Only pussies & assholes blame the officiating.
Blame the refs for letting Collison, Perkins and Ibaka run a train on the Spurs

God, Kerr gave Spurfan an excuse with his goaltending explanation and they are running with it.
If you can't get obvious goal-tending calls correct you should be fired.
TBH, I'm not saying we were going to win if the refs called the goal tending but that's not the point.
sons like I have said before ... this is a MUST WIN game for the Spurs. if they the bed tonight and allow OKC to even the series then they are done. ain't noway in will the league miss out on an opportunity to have a Durant vs LeBron/Wade finals.
Son is it ting the bed when you have to play 5 against 8?
They might as well have started the game 20 to 0.
CURRENT FREEBIE COUNT
Spurs - 16
OKC - 13
quit ing Spur fan.
Freebies isn't everything. Goal-tends, calling charges when the thunder are in the restriction line, etc.
Ibaka having the best game of his life + Durant going Godly in the 4th has nothing to do with calls.
I agree. That didn't have anything to do with the refs.
Obvious goal-tending and charges with players in the restricted circle did have something to do with the refs.
20 fouls on SA
15 fouls on OKC
16 FT's for SA
21 FT's for OKC
Not really that big of a difference.
Not like it was 50-29 FT's.

That's cool but you're in the P&A club as well.
I didn't mention free-throws.
a new low for Spurfan, claiming that the refs didn't call goal tending enough

FTAs aren't the only calls that are made in NBA games. Ibaka keeps goaltending and is practically never called for it. He's been called once or twice this series, yet he's goaltended 7 times. So he's gotten away with it 71% of the time.
Meanwhile, OKC gets away with moving screens (which are fouls). They set more moving screens than SA and have been called for it LESS. Westbrook can bulldoze headlong with a shoulder into a stationary defender and force him back and they call it a blocking foul. Whether it's FTAs or not, that's a bull call.
OKC is mainly benefitting from not being called for violations than they are benefitting from getting phantom foul calls. They foul a lot and the refs don't call it unless they're fouling a terrible free throw shooter, or it's a very obvious hack. Meanwhile they're calling touch fouls on SA.
Spurs have to play perfectly while OKC can play as hard as they want and not be called for it most of the time.
I wouldn't care about the non calls if they were letting the Spurs get away with the same stuff, but they don't. The Thunder barely get called for their violations 30% of the time, while SA gets called for theirs nearly 80% of the time. The Thunder foul a lot more than SA (have been all year), yet they get called for it less. SA has never goaltended once, OKC has gotten away with at least 5.
Do the math, that adds up.
