I doubt he leaves Boston. He's generally loyal to his teams. I think he once said its Boston or retirement. He's got his ring. He's made a crap load of cash.
I think if Boston truely does start in a new direction, that he may leave. But its a big if. Who knows if he'd come to SA.

Not sure how it could happen $$ wise, but if there was a way I'd not hesitate for a second. Instant toughness. Sure there is animosity btw KG and TD, but we brought in Kersey and Ellie to play with DRob in 1999 despite some history there.

I love how many Spurs fans salivate at the mouth for a great defensive bigman to put next to Duncan that can knockdown a mid-range jumper on a consistent basis, but wouldn't consider KG who is arguably the best possible option. Hate or love his personality, the guy brings it every night and changed the Celtics into a perennial contender the last 5 years (at least when he was healthy).
I don't think it has a chance of happening (especially given Duncan's feelings toward him, KG's feelings toward Holt, lack of money to offer, the fact he said hes getting tired of moving, ect) but if he was willing you take him in heartbeat. I guarantee you KG doesn't get his ass chewed out in a closeout game after 1 minute and 1 missed assignment, then rides the bench for the rest of the game
