Sons if you look at their PER stats last year, you'll see Patty has the edge of Deron 21.5 > 20.3 PER. While this clearly shows that Mills was the better player last year, I would choose Deron. You notice the jump that Mills made from the Blazers to the Spurs in PER was 13.0 to 21.5 PER. Son, imagine what kind of jump Deron would do if he were in the Spurs system. Combine the Spurs undeniably superior coaching and offense system, not to mention the amount of class Deron would develop, he would easily be the best point guard in the NBA.
