So he'll give up 30 million just like that?

He was willing to do it to go to the Nets...are you that stupid..He's already said he would leave 30 million on the table...I'm sure he could make it up and then some...playing in Houston would kill is career...thus far Houston has shown nothing but complete ineptness.

Rockets GM Daryl Morey has been busy dropping “poison pills” on team like banana peels in Mario Kart, so his team has obviously been tied up. After landing Jeremy Lin, Chicago’s Omer Asik is the next target, with a decision likely in Monday. In the midst of the delay, the Magic have gotten a peek at what all four rookie assets Morey ac ulated are capable of. Jeremy Lamb, Royce White, Terrence Jones and 2011 pick Donatas Motiejunas all flourished in different ways. Orlando was watching, developing favorites.

    are you that stupid..really
ok you seem to be a bigger moron today than usual. Let me re word my question. Who does LA have to give that the Magic would want to make the salary's match in order for LA to take on a bad contract?

When? Opted in so he could keep the money and be traded to Nets.

ok ask yourself this simple question...if it's so appealing why haven't they executed a trade...signing Asik makes no difference..what-so-ever....

you're setting yourself up for a major heart break

and I noticed how you failed to include this piece:

Orlando will send him to the team willing to rent him without assurances that puts the best deal together. That’s never changed. That’s been reported accurately here for weeks, so blame yourselves for riding the roller-coaster.
I find it funny Dwight hasn't openly expressed interest in Houston...we both know he'll walk and rightly so...Houston is bad for his career...He doens't have another 7 yrs for a rebuilding project....If he's smart he'll leave Houston hanging in the wind...

lol you've yet to answer when Dwight said he'd give up 30 mil to go to the Nets. Since I know you can't and won't answer it, I'll be waiting.

Signing Asik changes how many bad contracts you can take on, which is why Orlando is waiting to see how many they can send and what the cap situation is once Asik goes to Houston.

What proof do you have he'll walk from 30 mil? D-Will didn't want to go to Brooklyn and we know what happened. Chris Webber literally cried when he was traded to Sacramento, and we know what happened. You striking out time and time again is entertaining.

it's VERY difficult to sign a big name FA under the new CBA. whatever he says is just a method of demanding a trade. at end of day he'll certainly pick the option which he gets the biggest $ from, and that's by re-signing with whatever team that has his bird rights

Omer Asik's signing will NOT affect the role Houston Rockets playing as main faciliatator of a deal that nets Dwight Howard or Andrew Bynum.

"@sbeezyTX: If the Dwightmare and Linsanity coincide in H-Town, how much will media slobber over Rockets?" Morey's goal is to restore brand.

Bill Ingram ‏@TheRocketGuyDallas is very likely to be Dwight's landing place if he doesn't land in LA, where winning a le would surely convince him 2 sty

</div> Bill Ingram ‏@TheRocketGuyCavs won't do it w/o an extension in place, Rockets will....

    </div> Bill Ingram ‏@TheRocketGuy
You mean Bynum, I assume.....Lee refuted THAT report, though it makes sense. Bynum would be a great fit in Hou/Cle.

    </div>
    </div> Bill Ingram ‏@TheRocketGuy
but do we really want the only story in Houston all year to be Dwight's status? I'd take Bynum...

    </div> Bill Ingram ‏@TheRocketGuy
Of course, Rockets are hopeful that Hakeem and Bird's rights would be enough to convince Dwight to stay....

    </div> Bill Ingram ‏@TheRocketGuy
    - better than a rented Dwight.

    </div> Bill Ingram ‏@TheRocketGuy
Not saying Bynum 'would' ... only that it's more likely than Dwight, who says he won't.

    </div> Bill Ingram ‏@TheRocketGuy
We've been told Bynum might actually re-up in Houston, while Dwight repeatedly says he won't ....

@TheRocketGuy, would you call Dwights bluff and acquire him?

After riding Dwightmare rollercoaster all July, look for deal to be in place in next 2 weeks. Magic/Rockets, surely. Lakers, maybe. No Cavs.
