Trade deadline is nearly here and they haven't made a single move. Why?

Will these ball less s even attempt a trade or stay the same?

    What a joke.

5 games behind in wildcard race. Is it really worth trying hard to change when lefty is right, their season is over. Load up for next season

No kidding its over. That's precisely why they should make changes now.

You dont wait till the season is over to retool. It takes a year or more to get back to form. Waiting until the season is over only delays the process.

Also, the value of what they want to trade only drops further.

Youkilis is a prime example of that.

Nobody is going to want a washed up Becket in a year from now if he keeps ing up.

Yeah that's a fair point. May as well re-tool as fast as possible.

    What can they do?

LOL Red Sox didn't make any significant move.

    Cherington is a jackass.

    They will finish below .500

    Count on that.

They swindled the Diamondbacks getting LHP Breslow for Albers and Podsednick. No D-back fan understands the deal.

    He's a bullpen guy.

I think it evens out when you give another bullpen reliever plus a position player.

Breslow is a really devastating lefty specialist and almost equally as effective as a full inning guy.

    ROFL

Beckett is still utter and now apparently he's injured.

Boston will be stuck with this guy for the rest of his contract.

Those Boston people sure know how to do business.

Laughing stock of Baseball when it comes to transactions.

Once we get that useless stick Bobby V outta the Commonwealth, the Sox will be back dominating the Yankees and claiming their spot as the best team in baseball.
