they ain't controlling it like real-time strategy game imho, worked under preset programs and sent back graphs taken on the surface of mars automatically, there wasn't any sort of real-time control during the process because it's just not feasible when even light would need a few minutes to travel such a long distance tbh

Lets use our best scientific resources we have to go to Mars in hopes of finding a 2 billion year old Honey Bee fossil instead of finding out why the Honey bees on earth are dying.

When was the last time someone got this excited over the latest update on a cure for Autism?

When was the last topic made about the latest radiation levels found in our atmosphere?

Everyone is so excited about a 4 Billion dollar toy landing on an old dry planet and you wonder why this country is going to .

If Scientist know exactly how old the solar system is and how the Earth was formed they should already know all about whats on Mars and when it got there.

Or is that just another Science book kids need to stuff in their lockers.

    Truth.

Why not learn how to live on this planet first?

Why man will never go to Mars

Go to the 18:00 of 43:24 mark on this link and find out why it doesn't matter what planet we go to.
