He was trying to get the cops to see that cheating was the norm for NBA players...he even snitched on himself by telling of other Ho's in other cities he was banging..point is he was trying to get out of the situation....

and if it was me I would say anything and sell anyone I needed to up the river in order to get off...besides it's not like he knew those slimy Popo was secretly recording him...he didn't snitch on the record....pretty big difference

Defending Kobe's legacy is easy tbh, simply because he did it all in his era. There's simply nothing you can say about him that will diminish his importance and status among the All Time Greats. Yes he's a chucker and I think his ability to score has always been his greatest curse because it gives him reason to disregard his teammates sometimes. But really, 5 championships as the teams best closer is nothing to sneeze at. I'm going to maintain my stand that without Kobe's progression in LA's 2nd and 3rd championship run, Shaq may very well end with just 2 les because no one pushed Shaq like Kobe during the Diesel's prime.



Kobe did most of the dirty work (Portland, Sacramento series) and Shaq simply cleaned up the plates (Indiana, NJ and 76ers)
