Well deserved. The "cap" doesnt get enough love in GOAT debates he has the strongest case vs. MJ tbh. I do dide with MJ because I missed Kareem's prime. I saw ALL of MJ's but those that have seen both some favor Jabbar.
The Lakers were dumb to not have a statue of Kareem in the first place. He should've been the first Laker to have one.

As an LA Kings fan I have to agree with this. Although Gretzky was the greatest, he didn't win a cup for LA. A good comparison would be the Washington Wizards having a Jordan statue.

Kareem won even before he got to LA. Pretty irrelevant because Magic's championships teams were always stacked.
