Damn..sucks for you guys. Things just got a lot tougher
While that sucks, Florida shouldn't be that great with their lack of a QB. Plus it's a home game.
As for the lack of a bye game...ouch.

I thought A&M would win 6 games to begin with this year but this makes that even harder.
How much confidence do you guys have in the new coach and new starting QB facing a very good UF defense right out the gates?
aggsy need to realize that LT was not a gimme game to begin with, they have a legit chance of winning this game. Losing the bye week does suck and will likely affect you guys going into LSU, but the truth is you didn't have a chance against LSU to begin with.
I'm more confident in the coach than the QB, but overall I still see this game as a coin flip.
Aggy fitting in

South Carolina (will not soil USC with using it for the s.) Lattimore will go strong and the Commodores will keep it close but fall in the 4th.
Hurricane? Running game will be ultra important...
Not impressed with the s. And that was an easy pass interference call toward the end.
SC's offense looks awful, as usual. They needed to just run the out of lattimore last night. I'm not sure their defense is as good as advertised. Vandy looked scrappy, but not good enough to hang around like that.
and yes, that should have been pass interference.
I didn't realize that all of USCe wide receivers were all under like 5'9. That's a serious problem. Takes away the down field threat.
they would still need a QB to get the ball to em' even if they were tall. Can't believe Spurrier hasn't been able to get better QBs in there..
Guess the generation relevance of Spurrier has waned. I was wondering why someone who was instrumental in getting pretty good QB talent @ Gainesville hasn't been able to replicate his success at South Carolina.
SEC country isn't really known for producing great QBs.
Any of you aggies coming to Oxford for that game later this year?
true...but even a good passing qb and SoCo would be a legit natty contender, imo.
I wish. The hotels were gone in like 24 hours it seems. Have some friends going up there, though. I definitely plan on going there next time, though.
lol Florida. They lose this (at home, no less) and Muschamp is instantly on the hottest seat in the nation
Looks like aggy will get their first SECSECSEC win in forever.
I'm pleased with the effort Auburn put out there tonight. Didn't expect them to win, much less be in the game at the end, so I'll take it. Lol the 4th best team in the SEC west taking the veteran, defending ACC champs to the wire
Really liked the scheme on defense, but giving up 500+ is still not good enough. Lot's of credit to Clemson's Boyd for keeping plays alive time after time. Auburn is going to have to learn how to wrap up. So many missed tackles...Don't even wanna see the RAC yardage. D-line is also going to have to get better, obviously. Missed tackles or no, you can't give up 200+ on the ground and win
Kiehl Frazier showed some flashes of what he can do, but his decision making was suspect and he still doesn't handle pressure well when the pocket is collapsing. He's also got to learn when to throw it away and when to run. He's a true soph, so I think those things will come eventually. Tre Mason looked like a stud running the football, but his one fumble was huge. Was so awesome to see a fullback clearing holes for Auburn runners again. Prosch is a beast. O-line played pretty well for such a young group, especially since it was their first game. Once the Tigers get their center back it should improve even more.
Can't complain too much, really. A young squad doing what young squads do. Not converting in the redzone, not getting their feet inbounds, missing assignments and reads... The usual. But they found a way to hang around against a team that should go head to head with FSU for the ACC le. Great way to open up and test themselves on a neutral field instead of beating a patsy at home. Should definitely help them as the season wears on. Pretty sure they got out of there without any bad injuries too
Aggie played a great game. Give Bama.... I mean them... their due.
sons I think that the Aggies will be a little better than most are giving them credit for. I'm gonna predict ...
vs Florida - W (this one will get em talking)
@ Southern Methodist - W
vs South Carolina State - W
vs Arkansas - L
@ Ole PISS - W
@ Louisiana Tech - W
vs LSU - L
@ Auburn - L
@ Mississippi State - W
@ Alabama - L
vs Sam Houston State - W
vs Missouri - W
8-4 (3-4)
with a nice bowl bid ... and I think that 8-4ish record is about the best they will do in the near future unless something drastic changes.
