The Expendables 2. For being a pure action flick with obviously no attempt at sophistication, I give it a 8.5/10. See the movie if you wanna watch explosions and dismembermant and for some good one liners.

Can anyone who's seen Solaris (1972) or Jacob's Ladder please tell me if they are worth watching

What a piece of crap that movie was. -3 out of 10
I didn't see the original Solaris. But Jacob's Ladder is good.
Finally got around to seeing Kick-Ass. Cage's cartoonish acting actually fit here. Chloë Grace Moretz put in a really amazing performance, enough to make up for the general weakness of the plot and bump it up a couple of notches to 7/10.
And Jacob's Ladder is good.
kick ass pissed me off because it had great build up music, but then awkwardly transitioned to lame fight scene music, like every time, and the fight scenes pretty much were the movie

Kick ass wasn't meant to be a serious movie. Just silly fun, and it delivered at that.

Not a movie, but I watched the first two seasons of Deadwood, this half-assed review shouldn't have any spoilers:
Deadwood Season 1 - 9/10
Pretty awesome. The atmosphere, dialogue, and characters are as entertaining as they come, you ing suckers. It makes you angry that it got cancelled early.
Deadwood Season 2 - 8.5
Still good, but the Western Shakespeare-ish vibe gets old and hard to follow. A lot of scenes may have been important but felt like boring filler. The new characters introduced didn't add much for me. Crazy finish though. San Francisco sucker. Oh yea, and color me ing unimpressed with Anna Gunn although at least her role in Deadwood was shorter than Breaking Bad.
Season 3 - TBD
Hope it doesn't "end" too ty but everything I've heard says it does unfortunately.
The Human Contract 7/10
Unexpectedly engaging.
I decided to watch the movie base on the fact Paz Vega was in it. She did not disappoint. Great acting by Jason Clarke and not a bad directorial debut for Jada Pinkett Smith.
Source Code - 8/10.

House of Sand and Fog - Jennifer Connelly looked very hot as she ruined the lives of everybody she met.
Was a good film. I went in knowing nothing but thought it was about a 7.5/10
