Well that sucks.
Broken foot..
Anderson all over again? Not good for his future.
Good riddance... 2nd round trash
, can we get a break with a low pick anymore?
So's Manu. So's DeColo. So's Blair. So's Jack. So's Patty. He may never have developed into anything, but to say "Good riddance" to a young man who will probably never have an NBA career now is a complete move by someone who really shouldn't call themselves a Spurs fan at all.
He didn't look that bad when he was called up last year, even if he hadn't gotten injured I think the chances of him getting called up again was very very low. The Spurs are staaacked with PGs, Manu and DeColo can both run the point as well as Mills and Joseph.
posted and discussed too in the TT forum:

Still can't believe some had high expectations for the kid.
Had McClinton written all over him, tbh..
I agree
Where's the parallels? Anderson had a bright future as we saw by his actual play, we didn't see nothing from this scrub.
De Colo has yet to be seen on NBA stage, Manu is Manu, Blair was on his way to being a lottery pick if not for his acls or lack thereof & Patty has yet to show he can be a consistent back up pg, lol talk about being dramatic.
Too many people expecting 2nd round marginal players to turn into treasure.....

He sucked. This dude never even played a single regular season game for us. Stop your crying and get over it.....

Which is exactly why 1st round picks are like gold. They MUST be preserved - especially for an older team that needs to restock talent for the upcoming rebuild.
I'm actually not expecting anything from him, just pointing out second rounders on our roster who don't suck.
You're an asshole for dancing on the grave of his career.
That's a bit harsh. Maybe he wasn't good enough, but there is no need to bag him like this.
That's a horrible drag. Maybe he'll be the exception and find a way to get back.
That bites both for him personally and also for the spurs in having rights to a player that could be valuable to trade even if the spurs never used them directly. A while back the spurs took a flyer on a guy who had blown out his knee in the NCAA Tourney a year or so before, did anything ever come of that and what was the guy's name?
we are gettin close to being the version of the blazers who breaks knees, compared to legs....ummm
Da'Sean Butler? Last I heard he was in D league w/ toros but was injured then cut http://www.topix.com/basketball-play...er-sign-murray
When he was called up last year? Spurs just drafted him this year.
59th pick... not like he was going to be the next Kawhi or anything.
Thank you. Not sure where that came from.
