Regular season wins mean next to nothing. The Spurs were top seed two years in a row and still did not even get to the finals. We have seen this stript before. As long as the frontline stays weak with the current roster it doesn't matter how many regular season wins the Spurs get, there won't be any les.

The current Spurs have proved to be a great regular season team( winning game after game in the last two minutes of games) but then fold during the playoffs.
How someone can leave this kind of post after a great win is beyond me. Yes, greatness is measured in championships, but it's November. We should be enjoying these kind of wins. Also, seeing the big 3 play this well (ecspecially Duncan) all in one game is really nice to see. As a Spurs fan, I couldn't be happier.

True. Soon as you left, we came back, then when you posted again Pacers went on a 5-0 run. :\

    Cursed tonight!
I started watching after halftime, went to eat dinner, they came back. They actually went 9-0 when started watching again. I left the game thread and they started scoring so I watched the end of the game. The basketball gods didn't want me posting.

Is it a good sign the Spurs can win without hitting 3's now or a bad sign that the shooting is hit or miss?
Considering that the Spurs lost to OKC because their three pointer went cold, it's a good sign.

Great win despite the 17 point deficit in the third.

I did the same . Everytime I watched it, the Pacers went on a run and everytime I checked the score on the 'net, the Spurs were on a run. So I just stopped watching altogether and checked the score in the morning finding out the Spurs won. Basketball gods didn't want me to watch the game.

lol, well we won, that's all that matters. Next 3 games are against scrubs, so should be a good time to test if your curse still exists!

It's funny when that happens. My wife and I went to the game in the Alamodome where Rodman had 20 rebounds in the first half against the Mavs. The Spurs were down by 10 points early, my wife left for the ladies' room, and they went on a run to go up by 10. I jokingly send her to the bathroom when the Spurs are struggling in the playoffs.
