I'm just playing into your game..if it's an insult to me then it's an insult to you. Looks like you're in the same category as alex jones conspiracy theories, hope this doesn't hurt your credibility tbh.

Except for that part about signing free trade agreements with Mexico and even worse China, and also letting Greenspan, Rubin, and Summers have their laissez-faire fantasy economy that directly lead to our current depression. Then there's Glass-Steagall's repeal. Democrats becoming Republicans has had pretty disastrous consequences so far unless you're a blue-team cheerleader. The piece of Obamacare that doesn't address costs and is a huge blowjob to the insurance companies is yet another example of the garbage you get now that the Democratic party has swung so far right these last 20 years.

Well for one I would already be a step above the be@ners because I'd be coming there fleeing for my life, not just to come take jobs away from Canadians and for 2 I'd come educated and at least with a decent amount of work experience by that time (my company has a canadian operation as well) and would be of more value than 97% of society there. I also wouldn't sign up on welfare and I'd work hard, I'm not coming in with pre-existing health conditions if this happened today to be a drain on their taxpayer so they'd probably accept me with open arms tbh.
Although one thing is true, I definitely need to look into the prospect of applying for dual citizenship immediately.
I really haven't put too much thought into it, for the longest time I was strictly focused on finishing school and getting a job, finished school in august found work a month later so now I've just been saving money and making some preparations. Simply haven't had enough time to plan this out in full. Glad to know that you're really concerned with my life and plans though, if you want to do the work for me since you're so interested let me know what I'll need to do in order to put together a complete escape route, thanks in advance glad to know you care.

There are an abundance of mediocre types in Canada. I think youŽll be surprised about the lack of qualifications they consider you to have and being a foreigner, theyŽll use it as an excuse to pay you less. We have an abundance of accountants and a general population who are well versed in math. I found it tedious with 2 doctorate degrees. I doubt youŽre willing to put much effort only to deal with socialism and the extreme cold in the end.

Serious question, do people who are good at math not get worshiped in Canada like they do in the US , I've always considered a move to Canada but if everyone there is as good at math as I am then I'd be fcked

The aging baby boomers in math, science, and engineering are not being replaced at the same rate that they are retiring.

I am pushing my kids that direction now, because it is the most obvious labor market trend out there. Even if others notice it, the barriers to entry will always mean that demand for what limited supply of math/science/engineering graduates are out there will always be high enough to keep the wages good.

Australia is apparently the "conservative's canada"

Well, that is, for conservatives who have no idea what they are talking about.

Luckily, when you point out to them that Australia is not a conservative haven, they have a backup plan. New Zealand! Since a place with a major city named Christchurch MUST be their Utopia.

Australia is being "overrun" by socialist Asian immigrants, and has rather strict immigration as a result.

"overrun" not being my term but how it is described in the national narrative there from what I understand. Prolly an Aussie or two here that could speak to that a bit more authoritatively.

I go overtly Texan-nationalist in pushing Latino neighbor kids to go science/engineering: "this is YOUR OIL in the Eagle Ford. If you don't step up and take one of those jobs, some Yankee is going to move down here and take it, and make a living off YOUR OIL."

That's why I contributed to a Hispanic STEM program in this year's CFC. We could use some young engineers.

It's eventually going to happen, but by getting involved locally we can speed it up. It could look almost exactly like the immigrant-->blue-collar tradesman-->degreed professional-->executive leadership generational progression that happened with the 20th century wave of immigrants, and result in a late-21st-century resurgence in vigor in the new 'beige' America.

Takes about three to four generations for immigrant populations to be fully integrated, and indistinguishable from "natives", historically.

I happen to think of 1965 as the rough starting point for the former slave population in the US to have "arrived". By most measures the differences in education/poverty between blacks/whites in the US are easing.

Most hispanics got here in the mid-eighties, to mid-nineties, if my understanding is correct.

Given the increased instances of inter-racial marriage/mating, such distinctions won't mean much to future generations anyway, but that is much longer term than my lifetime.
