I am a certified Blair-hater, in all fairness.

I fully expect that the Spurs will pound the Rockets into the sand with or without Blair in the starting lineup.

diaw has better stats then blair does as a starter
didnt we go 20-0 once diaw joined the team
20-4 in 2012 and so far 17-4 which comes out to .82
almost a double digit improvement and thats going from 70 to 80%
which is almost impossible to do, not like going from a 20 to 30%

That sounds pretty good but honestly I still don't like Patty as a regular rotation player. Hopefully he's the first one dropped when Kawhi/Jax get back.
Patty could give us 10+ points off the bench (like he did last season). He's like Neal, an effective scorer and a three point shooter, but A LOT faster and with slightly better handles.

Mills is better suited to defending PGs because of his quickness. OTOH Neal is good against SGs who don't happen to tower over him.

A lot of people are certified Blair haters on this forum. The way Blair's played in the last few games has given a good reason for haters to hate.

Diaw is a much better defender than blair and just better all around the only problem with him is that he over passes sometimes when he is wide open and in the playoffs diaw will be much more effective than blair could be.

Neither can pass the ball, the best rotation would be :
TP, Green, Kawhi, Diaw and TD.
Nando, Manu, Jack, Bonner(or Kawhi since he can play 35 min/game), Splitter

Fair enough. With players like Neal and TP playing though, I find Patty extremely redundant in this regard now. The way he shoots every time he gets the ball gets on my nerves and since he doesn't direct the team like, say, De Colo does he's only really needed on a situational basis. This Spurs team is just that deep. We'll see how Pop handles it though.

TDMVPDPOY, am I mistaken or didn't you claim Lin was your second cousin or something like that last year during Linsanity?

I think so. Neal can then be used as a gunner from time to time when it's necessary (and Mills doesn't see much time at all).

So according to Dish...Comcast bought all the viewing rights...so all Rockets games are blacked out for me. Glad I'm not a Rockets fan. I'd be mad as if I dropped a bill eighty on League Pass only to find out all the games I really wanted to see wouldn't be shown.

man...houston had no idea how to guard us the other night, and was only remotely kept in the game by harden being pretty hot. this is going to be ugly.

Ugly in what sense? Game over at halftime with Bonner erupting for 20 rebounds?
